Uorag vs Genichiro Ashahina vs Star Guardian vs Faeris of Armageddon

Space, the final frontier. Who knows what lays out, away from the security of our own planet. This Space Station hovers above one such planet. It is a station with futuristic technology, meant to house a great deal of astronauts as they explore the mysteries of the universe. But such actions will have to be put aside today, for you will have to battle in the depth of space!

This fight will last for two weeks.
    Post as you see fit.
Remember, do not vote based on who will realistically win, vote based on the best writing.

It's been a few weeks since her last encounter with Uorag, and her life was falling to shambles. Again. She got a bit luckier, it hadn't completely fallen through, she had her pay docked from work for her absences after she begged her boss, rather than simply fired. But that wasn't her biggest problem...

Usually she was able to return quickly, even daily from her exertions as Star Guardian... This wasn't the case, that werewolf, Uorag had broke past her defenses, and stabbed her in the stomach with a pole, left her bleeding out, for underneath all her power as Star Guardian, her body was still that of a woman. Gaute, the soldier had patched her up, and given her a new wheelchair after the previous one got destroyed in the fight.

She felt a lot of feelings flying up into space to investigate the space station. Regret chiefly. Not for this, much as she got hurt, this wouldn't stop her from doing what needed to be done. No... She had regret remembering how Lili reacted when she came back unannounced. They were roommates, renting an apartment together, so she was the first to realize that Naomi Whitaker had gone missing. And when Naomi showed up later, Lili hadn't reacted well, demanding to know where the hell she went, especially since she had to pay rent alone.

Naomi meekly gave her the money owed, but of course that wasn't the core of the reason, the fact was left that her roommate when god knows where for a week and came back with scars. She couldn't hide what happened so... She told her what happened.

That she was Star Guardian, that she went around fighting evil. And this was the result. Things were awkward for a while, she thought there'd be a huge argument, but Lili just said she had to head out. Naomi cleaned up a bit at home. A week later, after getting back into working at the office and helping with the house, it was time. Another disturbance. She did her duty, leaving all the money back home just in case... She had a feeling it'd be just as hard as her last excursion, if not harder. She'd likely meet Uorag again here, she thought, as she flew through the airless vacuum to reach the space station. Nothing more to it aside from a feeling... But her feelings had a habit of being right...

Several weeks had passed since Faeris last was pulled away to the floatinf city, where he faced the shinigami, the ninja and the beast that had tried in its last throes to capture them all. Faeris had simply stepped back through a portal to avoid its grasp, but he was unsure what happened to the others. Much as it may concern him, they had shown themselves to be effective warriors and so he knew they would be ok.

he had recently just stepped through a portal once again, wearing a dark cloak with a hood over his body and head, his Halberd in his hand acting as just an apparently ornate walking staff. His telepathic powers easily let him slip unnoticed among the throngs of people here on this station. His violet eyes scanned their faces and minds, a small smile on his lips. They were one and all simply living their lives. Some had dark thoughts but Faeris had gotten used to determining random impulses that would stay merely thoughts from directed desires that would be acted upon.

Faeris walked to a nearby window, resting a hand against the hardened transparent material (it wasn't glass or plastic as far as he could tell, it seemed almost metallic. Perhaps he could bring a sample with him back to Hael for study....) and was struck by the sight just below him and rotatjng slowly in view: Terra.

it wasn't his own, of course. And hardly the only he had seen from a view like this. All the same, after all this time Faeris couldn't help but feel reverance at the sight, for all it meant to him from his own home realm.

He never got to visit Holy Terra back in his home reality. It was a far away star system only guessed at how it truly looked. And even if his own Terra was not as beautiful as this one was, due to his Earth's forty thousand years of human expansion, industry and pollution, to see an unspoiled version of Terra still teeming with life and vitality.......it helped Faeris remember why he did his duty.

A pink streak caught his eye coming from the planet. His eyes centered on it, and he sensed a mind and soul of noble bearing.....and a power source he could not really understand. He could feel its relative power, and it was indeed quite proficient. But.....something about it felt odd.

And considering his own power was justifiably described often as eldritch, that was unusual indeed. This one probably had to do with the ongoing tournament.

"I wonder......." Faeris tracked her incoming vector, seeking to walk to an oversight area to see her entry. He kept his cloak off, his halberd at the ready in one hand. The blade began to slowly glow with a rainbow aura as Faeris began to pour Warp Energy into the Force weapon. He knew he'd fight her, but he had no reason to immediately prepare for absolute war.....yet, at least.

"Again, I'm in a different area?" Genichiro asked aloud. He stepped up to a window and looking out into the vast space. "What is this?" He saw the planet below, but he didn't realize exactly what it was. Once again, he was in such a different environment than he was used to. No doubt he would once again have opponents to face. The only one who he had seen more than once was Faeris. Again, Genichiro would seek his destruction. However, this time a different tactic was in need. He wasn't planning on coming out of this fight alive, but he was planning on a victory. Genichiro stared down at his black blade, knowing what he may need to do. However, he didn't shudder . . . He would do anything to attain victory.

"It's time." Genichiro turned around and stepped up to two doors that suddenly slid off to the sides. Automatic doors, Genichiro's eyes widened at the magic he believed it to be. The samurai then continued on, seeking any opponent . . . but specifically, Faeris.

She flew in, quickly enough to be missed by people going about their day, who would simply see a quickly disappearing streak of pink. Quickly going through an open airlock, the people here weren't nearly as surprised to see her here, indeed, unlike at Earth she had quite the reputation. Star Guardian did at any rate, even if the details were off.

The astronauts welcomed her inside as they opened the airlock for her, she didn't recognize them in particular, but they probably saw her work at one point or another. Stopping invasions, destroying meteors, helping clean up after a disaster, or even just from her waving at ships as she flew by.

She went in, and flew around the area, observing daily life here, a mix of aliens and strangely human looking people. Some where unmistakably extraterrestrial while others looked more like cosplayers than aliens.

None of it really bothered her however as she went forward however, up until she began to enter the room of a certain man. She nearly doubled over just sensing it, the energy she felt here was a bad hangover waiting to happen, turning to see, her glowing pink eyes fell upon the man with a rainbow aura. At first she felt self-conscious staring at the man, it was rude after all, but that aura wasn't around the man... It was around the weapon.

She had continued to move through the area, but slower, trying to make out if the weapon was simply like that or if this was an intentional use... And if so why they were doing so. She would eventually leave the room if not spoken to, but her ears would stay focused on this room, as her suspicions refused to lift.

Faeris raised his head to allow his eyes to track as he watched Star Guardian approach. His violet eyes were also softly glowing with an eternally shifting rainbow of hues, walking to intercept the girl in the next room. It was obvious that nobody else even noticed him, and it was likely the girl may notice that. He sent a gentle telepathic thought to Star Guardian as they kept watch over each other.

'You are unusual. And I suspect we are both here for similar reasons. And I suspect we have met similar others in that case. Your power is.....nothing I have experienced before.'

By instinct she looked around to turn to the voice, only to just as quickly realize it was a telepath. The voice was in her head, and looking around, she saw the aforementioned strange man looking upon her with unknown intent. Right, the same one with the strange aura.

In any case, his last comment was also odd, she never really considered her power strange after acclimating to having super powers. The way he talked in general reminded her of same strange old sage... Or often enough warlocks.

She'd go up to question him immediately, but he hadn't done anything, just act really suspicious. She tried to think back her own confusion, a 'what are you talking about?' But given she wasn't a telepath, all that was her thinking it repeatedly while squinting at him.

After a time, they were face to face. His power armour would make his body beneath the cloak appear bulky, and it wasn't like his power armour's servos were especially quiet on their own. His footsteps were heavier than he seemed able to commit so that would also spoil the secret behind the cloak, not that he really did much to do so.

"I take it you have been among the chosen for this tournament of some sort? I have as well. My name is Faeris, of Armageddon." Faeris nodded politely, a smile on his lips. Of course, his eyes were still glowing, as was the halberd blade.

It seems they were using their titles, so Naomi answered back with what people knew her as up here. "I'm Star Guardian. But what are you talking about?" The second person to tell her about this... Just what were they talking about? This was especially awful given Uorag and Sigoi had already left permanent marks on her, if they their battles were a set up...

At certain times through the ages, in frequencies none can determine with any accuracy or reasoning, beings far above us in power gather various warriors of various backgrounds to face off in combat. Sometimes it is a friendly test of skills, sometimes it is nothing less than death matches with a single sole survivor at the end. All we know for certain is......Those Beyond The Abyss treat it as a game reagardless." Faeris made to walk, obviously expecting Star Guardian to follow him.

"I am part of a group that......shall we say aids and protects the multiverse as needed. I am one of its premier agents, and the fact I am dead makes me especially difficult to stop."

Genichiro marched through the strange Space Station, still bewildered by how odd the place was. But Genichiro still had his goal on mind. He would see it through no matter what. After walking through halls upon halls, Genichiro would reach the room where Faeris and Star Guardian were speaking. He was right! Once again, he and Faeris both were in the same location. However, Genichiro didn't attack just yet. He would let them at least notice his presence first.

Uorag had been listening in on this conversation. Both of them. And not in the same body, but instead both Uorag halves in their own separate bodies.

But how had this happened? Let's recap the unknown, but long, period of time before this.

After a brutal battle in a forest where Uorag had met somebody powerful enough to potentially stop him or kill him, Uorag had narrowly missed to catch his prey in that strange city that followed as the next battlefield. Once again, he was moved elsewhere, this time into outer space, still in his two-headed state from last time. Neither head required air to breathe, all Uorag had ever done in his life was consume. The only thing within Uorag that had ever considered changing this lifestyle was the human side he still possessed as a werewolf-like monster, in the form of an old man, but any attempt to convince Uorag of changing fell on deaf ears. After all, if Uorag ever stopped consuming he would shrink, possibly to no end or until he'd become nothing. And a powerful creature like him, a herald of nature, wishes for anything but to become nothing.

Both heads began to consume together at the same time, attracting huge chunks of celestial bodies and getting more gigantic by the second, at one point forcing nearby stars to go supernova, blasting Uorag all the way to another sector, if not the other end of the galaxy, and turning him into an enormous comet that shrunk in mass due to the heat and the initial explosion. Landing on an unknown planet, both Uorags found themselves separated, perhaps by the overconsumption being interrupted by the stars, or perhaps nature demanded it to be so. The white half went with the latter, and offered his other half a plan he had just hatched. His other half was not listening however, instead sniffing the air and eventually looking up into the sky, pointing at a space station outside this planet's boundaries.

"Ah, yesss... I can smell her too."

This was their chance for revenge, and he knew just how to catch her by surprise. They could both smell plenty of creatures within that space station. All they had to do was appear like everyone else, but they also needed an excuse to enter, if required. Risky as it was, the white half removed the old man from his body, not doing it with his other half in case he got pissed, and knocked him out so he wouldn't make it suspicious for them, and they would have to knock him out any time he showed signs of movement. All they needed now were clothes to disguise themselves with and a decent enough excuse.

And that's precisely what they did, after consuming whatever they found necessary, that is. They bandaged up the old man like a mummy, claiming he was injured and needed to be taken care of in the station, and both Uorags put on fedoras to hide their ears, gloves to hide their claws, scarves to hide their snouts and large enough trenchcoats to cover their whole bodies, tails included. The other half didn't think they shouldn't have gone through all of this nonsense, as they could have easily infiltrated this junkyard without so many cartoony antics, which said a lot for this plan as the darker half of Uorag usually didn't think at all. They had gotten close enough to observe her from a faraway corner, and they could hear what the other guy near them was saying.

The man was dead or not truly alive and reeked of dark power, much like them, in a way. The concepts he spoke about were only familiar to them because of the knowledge they had acquired from consuming others, like "tournaments" or the "multiverse". This man was a protector of the universe, but that didn't make him an ally of nature as far as they were concerned. Not yet, anyway. As much as it pained the darker half to hold back his hunger, they needed to wait to see if this man was friend or foe.

Reaper? A label created by the Protheans to give voice to their destruction.
In the end, what they chose to call us is irrelevant. We simply... are. We have no beginning. We have no end. We are infinite.
Millions of years after your civilization has been eradicated and forgotten, we will endure.

A lich then. An undead Lich with a rainbow aura that smells of a stomach ache and sounds like a cyborg underneath is robes. Of course. She didn't know what he was talking about with the multiverse, she had been to different worlds, even some different universes, a venture into the World of Darkness, the Sweets Realm. She certainly never seen him or anything like he was talking about. It was always just her and her friends. "I don't care what they call themselves, they're hurting people with their game!" She said, her voice rising slightly, though inside she still held reservations about his statement... Still, if they were the ones doing this...

She'd stop them, she's faced stronger foes than her before... Though as she recalled with Uorag, not always successfully. And so she stood, talking with this lich, unaware, just like all the other people of the danger lurking... Bubbling...

"I agree. But we cannot stand against them. It would be easier for an ant to kill the sun. They are too far beyond even the likes of my group and our Horsemen. But perhaps with enough recruitment, we could stsnd against them. And so I have taken this opportunity they foisted upon me to use my skills to find others who might help. To that end, I would seek to test you, if you were willing. And if not......"

Faeris pointed to Urog and Genichiro in turn. A smirk on his lips lit across his otherwise grim features, pulling his cloak off and revealing his armour and his Psychic Hood's cabling socketed directly into his skull as he turned from her. His Halberd burned with power now, as did his eyes, the rainbow energy of both looking like flames indeed now.

".......we have some guests who will undoubtedly want our attentions."

"Hmph, are you ready to die, Faeris?" Genichiro asked. He pulled up his blade and it charged with dark energy. He then swiped the blade diagonally and a black beam followed that would hit both Star Guardian and Faeris if they didn't move. The bottom of the beam tore through the metal making a noise that was piercing to the ears. Genichiro put more power into his beam than usual, his defenses were down and he was wide open for an attack if he stayed that way for too much longer.
