Is InuYasha A Shojo Esque Dragon Ball?

I was thinking this to myself lately... A lot of people say that InuYasha is DBZ for girls, so does that make it the Shojo version of Dragon Ball (because it's also written by a woman, even though it's written in Shonen Sunday)?

It's a shit tier Dragon Ball-esque story for girls, with even more filler. I can't fathom how anyone can like such a dull and dragged out series.

Also, is it even a Battle Shonen? There are fights, but they're complicated and strategic compared to most other Battle Shonen, kind of like Fullmetal Alchemist.
