 Yes... yes, i still have a doubt on who wins, some might think that i am trolling, but still..
Who wins this one?

Both are Limited to SSJ1

 Vegeta was pressured by Cabba after he went Super Saiyan, but oneshots him after going Super Saiyan Blue. Trunks fights evenly with a suppressed Super Saiyan 2 Goku so Super Saiyan Goku should also fight evenly with him if he's suppressed. I wanna give it to Cabba.

 I don't think this is trolling I think this would actually be a good fight. I'm giving it to Cabba due to Vegeta saying that they were equal in their base forms. I have Future Trunks a bit weaker than Vegeta and Goku so base form wise Cabba wins. Then as Super Saiyans, Future Trunks is much more experienced with the form but Cabba should have enough power to win.

 This is a bit tricky due to DBS being DBS, but I think Cabba would win this fight since he is on par with Vegeta, and Vegeta had to fight seriously against him before he went Blue, but Trunks on the other hand got completely wrecked by Black, without Black having to exert any effort to boot.

So it just seems like there a bigger gap between Vegeta and Trunks than there is between Vegeta and Cabba.

SS Cabba = SS Vegeta
SS2 Trunks <<< Black
Cabba > Trunks

I'm not sure if my reasoning makes any lick of sense, but that's how I see it.

Cabba wins.

I might need to rewatch that episode, all I remember is that Trunks got his a$$ kicked by Blue Vegeta.

It might be because when Vegeta was fighting Trunks he was actually trying to train him, while when he was fighting Cabba,
he just wanted to show him that Blue existed, then legitimately beat him.

As for the reason Goku went SS2 against Trunks instead of normal SS, it isn't because he could only beat him as a SS2,
(because we already know Black ~ SS2 Goku, and we saw Black wreck SS2 Trunks with ease)
I'm pretty sure Goku only went SS2 because he wanted to show Trunks he had the form too, as well as a form beyond it.

But I ssj 2,trunks can hold his own against ssj cabba. But I know it make no sense how trunks got so strong.
