He's not much stronger than Gohan from back then, and that's not nearly enough to topple Cell's full power, let alone a post-zenkai version of it.

Kept you waiting huh? Favourite Manga Dragon Ball, Naruto, and Bleach	If Goku can use Super Kaioken like in the filler other world tournament then he'd easily one shot both Cells. Heck even without that to be honest but Goku I'm the Buu saga doesn't really seem that much stronger especially if you look at the fact Super Saiyan 2 Goku and Vegeta (post Majin) were "at least stronger then Gohan against Cell", which doesn't imply a hefty gap.

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Hokuto no Ken, Berserk, Dragon Ball, Rurouni Kenshin, Attack on Titan, Kuroshitsuji	I have Buu arc SSJ Goku closing in on Cell but still coming up short (about a 15-20% difference). He could maybe hold his ground for some time using the Instant Transmission, yet the end result would be the same except this time his opponent is needing to exert all of their power. Super Perfect Cell is impossible until the BoG arc comes around.

Posts: 7,023 Group: Elite Member Member #9,876 Joined: August 11, 2013 Gender Male Country Canada	Gets destroyed by Perfect Cell, gets destroyed even more by Zenkai Cell Goku in the Buu Arc was noted to only be a bit stronger than Gohan from the Cell Games and SSJ Gohan from that time isn't coming close to touching Perfect Cell's full power.

Round 1 : Cell with no difficulty at all, i have SSJ Goku only a bit stronger than Kid Gohan (Cell-Games) Round 2 : SSJ2 Cell one-shots even though if you do Super Kaioken, i see Perfect Cell winning, MY gaps are really too big compared to other people, who else does have SSJ x10 = SSJ2? So I think he could barely win in the first round but lose in the second, although I'm sure he would manage to give off a good fight.

Posts: 3,488 Group: Member Member #10,141 Joined: September 7, 2013	Boo-arc SSJ2 Goku was barely above SSJ2 Kid Gohan, which SPC was more or less equal to and regular Perfect Cell managed to knock backward with a punch. You think SSJ Goku could do that to SSJ2 Gohan?
