Then he got punched by yet another character infinitely stronger than Kid Goku, Kid Boo, and again, barely hurt. How does that not prove my point? Do I really need words to describe the simplest of things?

Anyway, Bear thief's like 10+ feet, and is immensely strong physically. I'm afraid Satan is outclassed in every way, except maybe speed. Bear thief eats him.

It's genuine if the character in question is able to do it. Goku jumping to the moon accidentally by having his a** lit on fire ? That's gag, but genuine. Hercule surviving Buu's punches, whereas these same punches hurt Goku ? it's hard to take those seriously. But ah well, that's the only lead we have on Hercule's durability. Curious about your reference to Gotenks though.

Gotenks is often called a gag character. @Notaka, in other words, there are genuine feats and outliers, gag or not gag never enters into the equation. What you only proved was that Satan is durable for a human. Sure he's durable, but not only were those for comedy, Bear thief has multiple ways of killing Satan. One could be throwing him far away, another would be sitting on him and crushing his body, or to simply eat him. It's ridiculous to think that someone like Satan would win. you'd need to be superhuman to beat this guy.

Some are stretching yeah, but still, we take Roshi and Krillin being fast enough to pay rock paper scissors with no one noticing with nary a word about feats. If these fights are going to be disqualified, they need to be done so on the basis of being outliers compared to what he's usually portrayed as, rather than simply because it's a joke. That's my view on it in any case. I'm not completely sure I do either but it's used to undermine his strength usually.
