Truth is more important imo. If you know nothing about anything but you're happy, well that doesn't feel right. If that makes sense.

This is like "ignorance is bliss", right? I may just go with the happiness. For example, I know that a day will come where the earth can no longer sustain humans and the best That I we can do is delay that. I would rather just be happy.

I would rather know the truth, though it depends on what scenario you're referring to. If I had a girlfriend that only loved me for my money, I would want to know that I am being played rather than just playing along and being happy.

I think both are very important because they both have great impact on everything.

In my life = truth. I don't have kids yet, and don't plan too because i dislike babies, so i wouldn't know how that would effect my life, but i'd prefer truth 99% of the time. If me and girlfriend separated, i would like to know what her reasons were without sugar coating on top. Truth is the only way to grow.

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

If you could guarantee that ignorance would always be bliss, then I'd probably opt for that. If I'm happy while living a lie, but never realise that I am in fact living a lie, then I'm still going to be happy regardless. However, if the truth was eventually going to come out, then I'd much rather it come out sooner than later so it gives me more time to move on from it.

"Next time?"
"Course. Doing better next time. That's what life is."
