So, I'm sure that I'm not the only one who has had this thought.

Have any of you ever come across a game, toy, board game, etc, that you really didn't get into for whatever reason as a kid, but looking back as an adult, are surprised that you didn't?

Star Trek. I dismissed it as something only losers are into. Not realising that I was actually a loser myself.

Lead Balloon. It's a British sitcom very similar to Curb Your Enthusiasm where the lead character is surrounded by a*****. I wasn't mature enough at the time it was broadcast to get that sort off humour. It's so well copy protected that I can't find a stream of it anywhere without having to pay for it.

Stargate SG1. I watched the first episode when it first aired, missed the second one and then never caught up. Now it's too dated to watch.

Silent Hill 2&3. I didn't actually realise at the time they even existed. Although since I couldn't recently get very far in the second one due to being too scared to play it again, it's probably a good thing that I didn't play it as a child.

Eternal Darkness. Damn this game was cool and I had no idea how good it was until after the Gamecube died out.

Maximo. Another game that looked cool which I never got to play on PS2.

Batman.

I liked Batman and the whole Batman universe when I was a kid, but I really enjoy it now.

Star Wars and Superman.

I thought they were cool back then but only realized and appreciated their importance and mythos as I got older, and loved them more and more with the Christopher Reeves movies, the 2003 Star Wars show, Superman: The Animated Series, and I started loving them even more after doing some research on their background and the making of all these series and movies.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Naurto. I always thought it was stupid and I never gave it a shot even though I was really into Anime. But then I thought I'd give reading the Manga a shot and I loved the series so much. I could've enjoyed watching the show on TV as a kid but I missed out.

The original Star Wars movies. Now I love them and have bought them etc, but back in the day I never really understood the stuff. But then again, I only saw the prequels.
