What Browser do you use? Google Chrome	This is a good question. I believe that it's possible for him to turn into a super saiyan due to his genes, but I doubt Toriyama ever really thought of that.

Firefox Favourite Manga Dragon Ball, Fullmetal Alchemist, Assassination Classroom, Deadman Wonderland	I think I would go as far as to say that Cell has "Super Saiyan-like" power and ki properties, but given the fact that Super Saiyan is (by nature) a physical transformation, he's not actually a real Super Saiyan because his appearance doesn't take on the signature Super Saiyan look which is golden hair and green eyes. Even though Cell doesn't have hair, if he were truly to transform into a "Super Saiyan", his eyes would at least turn green; and they don't. Cell is genetically part Saiyan, but his natural physical appearance doesn't actually allow him to take on an actual Super Saiyan transformation. Edited by Ketchup Revenge, Aug 9 2016, 08:19 PM.

I've always kind of felt like Super Perfect Cell was like Super Saiyan 2. So I'd say yes, he transforms but physically there's no difference.

Just watch his auras: They match up with the forms and the power he obtains. SSJ2 = Super Perfect Cell SSJg3 = Power Bloated Giant Face Cell (perhaps with a hint of Namekian growth in there) SSJg2 = Full Power Perfect Cell SSJ = Perfect Cell (@Goku)

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Naruto	Have you seen Cell's Aura, he basically is an SSJ, but all the time. Even Imperfect Cell was likely tapping into that Super Saiyan Power. He's shown the ability to use Power Weighted Forms. He used a combination of a Power Weighted Form and a slight Namek Enlargement Transformation against SSJ2 Gohan. And Super Perfect Cell is basically his version of SSJ2.

Especially considering they kept it in the revised kai, it's something they intended. It makes sense considering he has saiyan genes. And unsurprisingly the same artist made a Super Saiyan Cell fan art, and he looks pretty cool imo. As for the question, it's a bit silly considering Cell is an android and not a saiyan. It's like asking Piccolo to become a super saiyan if you inject some saiyan DNA into him or something. It ain't gonna happen.
	Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?! Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Hey, Super Saiyan is just a name for a radical power-up, so if Super Saiyan was called "Extreme Power-Up" then yeah. I'd say Cell can become "Super Saiyan" but obviously it would have different visual effects than Super Saiyan.
