The Original of these choices. I can appreciate Bruce Falconer's style but I find it slightly overrated. My favorite is the Funimation soundtrack for Dragonball (when Goku was a kid), not sure who's responsible for it, but it feels me with joy when I hear it. |

I think Funi used the Japanese music for the original DB, just without the insert songs (where they were replaced by nothing). Might be wrong. |

Well, I think there might be a number of insert songs still in tact, but yeah, a number were removed for whatever reason. |

Whatever Toei Animation put there. Nothing else belongs there and is disqualified by default. |

The Kikuchi score was great. I like Bruce Faulconer's work and I always set aside the dub and original (mainly because Funimation created such a different version of the series). Faulconer had a lot of good "epic" music, but I'm not a fan of a lot of the "in-between" music. Plus, I can just hear the cheapness in quality. I mean it's like they gave him one of those children's keyboards that they bought in Toys R' Us and said "Here you go; give us gold!" |

I've always preferred the Original Japanese, but they're all good imo. |

Yeah, Dragon Ball's had some really good soundtracks. I like all of them except GT's dub.

I only have experience with Faulconer's music, so I can't say what's the best, but I do really enjoy his work. I used to have a bunch of it on my iPod that I would listen to while reading the manga (and other things) or just out and about. |

Kikuchi's. Also GT's soundtrack. I don't know who composed it but I really like some of the songs. Faulconer's music is quite overrated, and it doesn't really fit with the series at any moment, just like the Funi dub, there is SO much talking it's absurd. They clearly don't know how to create ambiance. Faulconer's songs are alright on their own, but they're nothing extraordinary for its time and most of them are weirdly complicated pieces of music. However I do like Perfect Cell's theme. It's one of his few simpler songs and I can appreciate the effort a lot more here. Plus it really fits Cell. He's this creepy monster, stalking people, getting stronger, always. You can only hope, that he'll never find you. He's an unstoppable creature that no warrior can beat. |
Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?! Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power. | |
