Name one thing you don't like about DBZF

Yeah, for the like button it's definitely I feel just a way to get around the posts just going "+1" or "this" even if that doesn't stop some people. The way I see it, it's when you agree, but have nothing substantial to add to the conversation. Or when you laughed.

as for the first one, I'm pretty sure that's technically a glitch? It's not the right way to describe it but I think if you go there than off, the site still thinks you're viewing a topic for about 30 minutes. Also maybe having multiple tabs might explain it, I'm fairly certain that most of the people "viewing" a topic in those situations have probably stopped viewing it and are on something else by now.

hmmm... The way the image resizing works could use an improvement but I'm not actually sure how one would do that and it is better than ridiculously large images taking up the screen. I doubt there's really a better way to do this though.

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the war room!"

The ups and downs of the DB sections. Sometimes you get some topics that are really good, but then we go through dry spells for a couple weeks where they're boring.

I'm also upset that there's not more DBZ figure/merch collectors here.

Yeah, I always viewed the 'like' button as either 'I agree' or 'this is funny'.

Me too.. like just now for example.

Also I like to use it as an alert to someone that I saw their post, but don't feel like leaving a post that says nothing more than "I saw your post".

The Inactivity; This forum, most of the time is a moderately active one. Sometimes, It's as active as an entertainment park. However, there are a lot of times where this forum is basically a ghost town. It may also be just me, but I dislike inactivity. I frequently see myself being the latest poster for 4 or 5 replies when I look up on the activity feed page.

As far as this goes, keep in mind that we all don't live in the same timezones either. It could be 5:00PM where you live but 3:00 am where other people live. I know I generally don't stay up until 3:00 am because of work. It'd also be worthwhile to mention that the majority of us aren't kids either, we all have work, education, or familial obligations as well that do trump using the internet to post on a message board.

Not much, but the community doesn't seem as close these days. Maybe that's just me.
Idt it's really much a case of ppl not being close, but rather ppl not posting much. Most of the elites chat to each other on most days and ik a lot of ppl talk to each other outside the forum anyway. I talk to ppl less cuz I'm far busier now compared to 3 yrs ago.
back then ppl would argue over dumb s*** such as good spam vs bad spam for f***ing weeks. i haven't seen that in ages. Back when I signed up it kind of felt like there was some elitism and s*** going on. These days I've been seeing older posters embrace newer members and are generally more open, altho maybe it only seems different cuz I was a dick back then

Okay I still am now but whatevs
Yes, you are probably right. I also think everyone continually aging has something to do with it, considering as you said, most are much busier these days.

My post was stated incorrectly.

Sarcasm and humor can't be interpreted that easily considering this is in text format.

Unless it's in the Open Mic section or the shout box! ^_^

I'll be really honest, and if you do end up hating me, I understand.

First, There's something that always bothers me, especially in a Super thread and it's that there a dozen of members looking at a topic doing nothing. Everyone stands there looking when the last post was posted an hour ago. Maybe it's just me, but it quirks me how someone stands half a hour staying in a topic with no more than 5 replies. Which leads me to my second point:

The Inactivity; This forum, most of the time is a moderately active one. Sometimes, It's as active as an entertainment park. However, there are a lot of times where this forum is basically a ghost town. It may also be just me, but I dislike inactivity. I frequently see myself being the latest poster for 4 or 5 replies when I look up on the activity feed page.

A really insignificant one: You know how when I debate against someone, and the people who shares their opinion with that somebody ? They all like their posts. It's not a big deal, really. Call me sensitive, but when they all like someone's post I really feel discouraged from debating. I feel being ganged up on. I know that's what debating is, but still, I can't help it.

However, what I like about DBZF compensates. The welcome atmosphere, the friendly environment, its nice members. It's the best Dragon ball Forum-no, the best Dragon ball site I've ever been on. I really want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for this.
I'm pretty sure there's some kind of glitch with the Super section and it makes it look like everyone is viewing topics when they actually aren't. I often see names of people who don't really visit Dragon Ball topics. I think it's connected to the same thing with will occasionally mark topics in that section as "Read" even if you haven't opened it.

This might sound a little strange, coming from me... buuut:

I never really grew close to anyone on the forum. There was probably 2 or 3 people that I started talking to more regularly, but otherwise there wasn't any friendships that I came to have here. I understand why now, most people here are far older than me but back when I had first joined this forum was basically all I had to interact with people who didn't outright hate me.

Younger me wished she had made more friends here because everybody in real life hated her, and unfortunately she never truly got what she wanted. But hey, that's life and my weird 'issue' with the forum.

I don't like it when people take things too seriously.
Or don't take things seriously enough. There are a few members here who consistently post unfunny spam. I'm not going to say any names, but there's a difference between someone trying too hard to be funny and failing miserably versus someone who is legitimately funny and uses humor at the right time. But that may also be my own sense of humor clouding my judgment of others.

I'm gonna bow out with the negativity now.

It's difficult when there's an age gap as wide as ours is. 26 year old men shouldn't be getting too friendly with 16 year old girls or younger. So I've always tried to distance myself a bit from you rather than some older members on here who I probably tried way too hard to be friends with. To an extent it's similar with the male members but in their case it's more that our levels of maturity don't match up well.

The only thing I can think of so far is that, even though we have the activity feed, this forum could use a "New Posts to Topics You've Posted in" and "New Posts/Threads" sections.

I get where you're coming from. The unfortunate thing is, anyone I ever really get along with, aside from my best friend, has been older than me. One of my closest friends back in 2013 was someone who was in their early 20s going into university. And even my friend group now is generally filled with 20+ year olds. I've known them for years though, and that number isn't as strange as it used to be nowadays.
