Who do you guys find to be the most classical villain in the series? This includes Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z.

I think the most classical ones are probably these ones: Frieza, Demon King Piccolo, Raditz, and Vegeta.
Frieza seems to be definitely one of the first villains of DBZ a person will think of, it is also one of the most major battles seeing as how it's when Goku attains Super Saiyan, which imo is the most classical moment in all of anime history. I also find their battle to be the most classical. Demon King Piccolo also really deserves to be one of the most classical villains, maybe because he was the only real villain in Dragon Ball or because he was just a fantastic creation. He is the only character that actually tried taking over Earth, everyone else was going more so for the universe or killing everything in sight. Raditz I find is one of the most classical because he is our first villain in DBZ, the first saiyan, Goku's brother, and he was the first character that had totally outclassed Goku by large large margin. Not just Goku, but Piccolo at the same exact time. He definitely left a big impact on DBZ even though he had one of the smallest parts. Vegeta may have turned good later on, but he is definitely an iconic villain. He seemed to be the perfect rival for Goku and he seemed to be the complete opposite. The battle was magnifcent and Vegeta was ruthless. Even during the Namek Saga he was a villain, more so of an anti hero, which was when he had his best moments in DBZ imo.

Definitely Freeza. He just fit so well into the story. He really felt like the "final boss" of Dragon Ball Z.

Perfect Cell felt more like a final boss to me, considering he's comprised of the cells of the strongest warriors in the series. Freeza definitely had a larger impact on the series tho.

Tao Pai Pai

Dude had classic old-age Japanese assasin vibe when he appears on-screen.

Not to say how Tao totally changed demography of DragonBall in terms of brutality & heartlessness (which became a staple of every DB baddy)

So yeah. Tao FTW

Though Frieza also had unique alien air around him.

Though I gotta say Kid Boo also groups along with classic villain. His unstoppable & destructive nature he brought to the fore with universal-scale battle involving Kaioshin Realm, Earth, New Namek & even After World was simply......beyond classic

King Piccolo was the first major threat, excluding Tao and the RRA, that threatened the whole world without anyone being able to stop him. Plus the idea that he was pure evil and some sort of satanic archetype is pretty cool. The dude was basically Satan before Dabura appeared. He's the one that made the series darker and more appealing to others.

The stakes were higher than ever.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Freeza. He was just awesome.

I agree that Radditz deserved more than 1 Fight.
