From how I see it...and without throwing in my own theories for Goku's power and how it stacks up to Beerus. Ultimately at this point in time absolutely now form Goku can take would ever best Beerus. Beerus has Goku beat on nearly every facet of battle; skill, power, you name it. We've seen the gap between these two and how exponentially huge it is numerous times. Any time Beerus gets annoyed at Goku and threatens him. Goku nearly pisses his pants. I wouldn't call that a vote of Goku and his confidence against someone he supposedly 'rivals' SSJ2 form. Goku could be a rival for Beerus only in the respect that Goku has the potential to be someone Beerus could eventually lose to. Beerus has a plan for Goku, otherwise if he didn't then Beerus wouldn't invest so much time in Goku, Whis wouldn't either. And at this point it's safe to say that Beerus would never kill Goku or destroy Earth either. He's simply too attached. But yeah. There's no form that Goku could take that would even give Beerus a run for his money. There's also evidence to support that those times Goku appeared to be pushing Beerus against the ropes, Beerus was simply doing that for show and had plenty of power in reserve to put Goku in his place. SSJ2 Goku rivals Beerus unrestrained? I just don't know, I'm really not inclined to agree at all. I mean yeah. Goku has been training like crazy and he's considerably stronger now, or at least a marginal amount stronger than when he fought in the most recent tournament. Push comes to shove. Beerus would push Goku under his thumb to remind him how far he still needs to go before he could ever really be a threat to Beerus. Why are we bringing Hit in to this be the way? We all know he's strong. But why draw comparisons between Hit and Goku, or Beerus and Champa...Frieza? We never saw what Hit was capable of. But it's clear that he can face off with Goku in either God form and be just fine. I'd argue that Hit is right up there with Vegeta and Goku in terms of power. Can't really say otherwise because like I said, we didn't see enough of Hit and his range of power to determine if he's weaker than Goku or Vegeta. Frankly I'd argue that Hit would best Vegeta in a fight...he did already but that was only because Vegeta failed to understand how his ability worked. Anyway I'm rambling. |
