Okay so what if Yamcha, Krillin, and Tien for example did the same kind of training as Goku and Vegeta. What I mean by that is the Gravity Room training and the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. They would obviously have to start at a lower number in the Gravity Room and build their way up but would they reach a cap limit and could they handle the Hyperbolic Time Chamber? Humans are much more fragile than saiyans or namekians mainly because aren't a warrior race. It defies all logic for them to stand 10x gravity but they were able to do that. I suppose it's still fiction so it's not like that really matters. So do you think the humans could handle that kind of training? How far could they go with Gravity and how powerful would they become? |

They definitely could handle it. I could see it making them stronger than the Android arc Base Saiyans even. Super Saiyan level? Doubtful. It wouldn't change the story much if that's what you're thinking. If they got Kaio-Ken on top of that training though, they could really get some good boosts, but I doubt they would be able to get the kind of power they would need even then. |

Everything Goku and Vegeta did? Hmm... By training with Super Saiyan Goku in preparation for the cyborgs, I see all of the humans pushing up into the tens of millions. I could even see Tien and Krillin beating Frieza at 50% if the gains were generous enough. After using RoSaT while training with each other, they might break one hundred million. I have to say though I think they would be hitting their ceiling eventually. Training during the 7 year gap would see only minimal gains from my point of view, most of it would be dedicated to keeping what they already have. I think the real butterflies would involve giving them Kaioken. Just a power level of 10 million combined with Kaioken x20 would be enough to put them in the spectrum of the Super Saiyans. Tien and Krillin using Kaioken at 60,000,000+ would be insane because it could theoretically put them ahead of the SSJs. Imagine Tien and Krillin going to town on the cyborgs while Vegeta, Goku, Trunks, and Piccolo sit back and watch in awe. Sounds crazy, doesn't it? It would keep them competitive throughout the Cell arc. For the Buu arc they could still be kept relevant by fighting henchmen and introducing them to fusing. I can imagine Kaioken powered Tiencha trading blows with Dabura in this scenario. |

Saiyans aren't only stronger, but their bodies are considered more durable; and their primes last longer than humans. They're more capable of handling extreme conditions; and they can deal with them for longer periods in their lives. Not to mention that pesky Zenkai ability seems to give them an extreme advantage. During Goku's hospital stay following his fight with Vegeta, he even said something along the lines that he didn't expect to fully recover from his injuries... this was of course, prior to him knowing about Zenkai. So injuries like the ones that Goku received would probably end the fighting career of a human, but it only seems to fuel the Saiyans' physical abilities. I can see them getting into the tens of millions, but their prime would waste away before they'd be able to hit Super Saiyan levels. Hence, why Super Saiyans are and always have been considered the most powerful warriors in the Universe. The very parameters of the Saiyan race allow them to endlessly gain with no setbacks. Emeriti beat me to it. It's not just a matter of "same training, same results." At a certain point, Saiyans are just going to be able to do things that Earthlings can't, and it seems to me like that point was reached fairly early into the Z portion of the story. Earthlings aren't as hardy and capable of handling extreme training environments as Saiyans — 10x gravity is already a stretch, but stuff like 100Gs and up or the extreme temperatures of the RoSaT will just be too grueling for the Earthlings. They'd have to struggle just to survive, to say nothing of actually benefiting from those conditions. Earthlings don't have natural Saiyan advantages like healing boosts, which were the main thing that let Goku and Vegeta shoot up into high power level ranges. They likewise don't have Super Saiyan, which Goku and the others experimented with and improved upon to become stronger during the Cell arc. The Saiyan characters got so strong because Saiyans are made to get constantly stronger. There's few things that don't have that effect on them. By Earthling standards, guys like Kuririn and Tenshinhan are already abnormal freaks who have attained absurd, unheard-of power, even if their power levels capped out "only" in the hundreds of thousands or something. The only extraordinarily effective way to get stronger than that is from outside means, like more potential unlocks, permanent Fusions, or being reincarnated with a non-Earthling source of power like Oob. saiyans have tougher bodies than humans and even the other humanoids on their homeplanet. for DNA and gravitational reasons. they can handle very high gravity BUT NOT UNLIMITED !!! its just physically impossible, even for them in fiction. humans are a race with weaker bodies, so they cant handle high gravity. i believe KRILLIN at his prime (reached the peak of human limit) can go x10 MAX. BUT as seen in dragon ball, humans are not completely useless because once the humans of the group went out to the world to learn new skills and diverse (like goku did) they became much stronger. even mr satan, a normal fighter who never had special training, was able to reach speed and strength beyond any normal man at his prime. my final point is humans are not strong and their peak is low. they cannot transform to increase their peak (which is my theory of what super saiyan is), but they do have a great potential of getting stronger and the mind to so. but reaching to the strength of aliens... no way, wont happen, EVER.
