Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Nah it's not hacking, it's DDoS. Don't give them credit by calling them hackers :p

Sad sad people.

Although they could be heroes if this is just a mind control app...

Even my mum is playing it.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

"I understand that it's a fun game and all, but it's really disheartening that THIS is what causes us to gather in parks. We aren't gathering to talk about our ridiculous choices for a leader, a possible religious and race war that seems to be brewing or the million other socioeconomic issues that are smacking us in the face. The 1% has been slowly making us stop asking, stop talking and keep watching and buying. Not Pokemon Go, but rather people's reaction to this game, represents all that is wrong with this world."

damn pseudointellects. apparently playing pg makes you ignorant to everything else going on in the world.

Not even I have really played Pokemon on the Gameboy Color. My first Pokemon game was Ruby on the GBA, and after that I went back and bought Crystal. I've never played the original Red, Blue, or Yellow (although I've seen them played) because I don't think they've aged well. If I want to play first gen, I just play Leaf Green or Fire Red.
The originals still hold up well if you played them as your first games. I guess if you started on 3rd gen I can see some difficulty going backwards. The first badge in Yellow was probably the biggest pain in the entire pokemon franchise. Having to catch a Caterpie and train it in to a Butterfree to beat Brock. You'd think the developers would realize having your starter pokemon as an electric type while trying for the first badge would be deterrent to people wanting to enter the series.

Gold and silver were my first two Pokemon games, though. I ended up getting them both for Christmas when they first were released. I still have them, as well as Yellow, Red, and Blue, but I don't have any of the games beyond 2nd Generation anymore. I also no longer have a Gameboy to play them.

Far more scary than any of that is the possibility of Nintendo going the route of mobile gaming.

'Tis truly a saddening thought.

You could also catch a Mankey or a Nidoran in Route 22, just west of Viridian City. Mankey learns Low Kick at level 9 and both Nidorans learn Double Kick at level 12.

Not that any of you will care about this specifically, but I've discovered another reason why I personally won't be playing Pokemon Go.

I have a Microsoft Phone (pretty much because it didn't cost much and I don't really care about using a phone past calling and texting) and Pokemon Go is not available on Microsoft Phones.

What's with everyone hating on people enjoying this? The amount of 'real men don't play Pokemon Go' or 'adults shouldn't play Pokemon Go' is crazy. Wow, the people who played Pokemon in the late 90s/early 00s have turned into adults (because, you know, time) and fancied a nostalgia trip via a free game. Shocker.

That doesn't mean that people have to like it though. They're entitled to their opinion.

I would try it out to see what people are on about but because it hasn't been released on my phone, I won't be able to anyway, but honestly I don't feel like I'm missing out on that much all the same.

I wasn't saying that they have to like it. Just that they shouldn't bother themselves with the fact that other people like it.

Well, they probably just voice their distaste because they're tired of hearing people talk about it. Hearing people talk about the same thing over and over always gets boring if you're not interested in the subject matter. People got tired of others talking about Brexit all the time, so why wouldn't it be the same with Pokemon Go?

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I don't think the game even works on my iPod.

You need internet to play it outside right? Sucks for me then will need a phone to actually get use out of it.

Also personally I loved the challenge of having a Pikachu vs Brock, anime nostalgia.
I always stay there until my Pikachu can f*** Brock up then move on.

It's not any harder than having Charmander really. I mean Charmander sucks against Brock and Misty so that's two hard gyms in a row. Bulbasaur sails through most of them, never realized that until now actually.
