I have that problem too. I also haven't been able to log in for two days because of server issues, so there's that. |

I had a server issue at like 2 in the morning today, but otherwise it's been good. I wonder why it's giving you trouble. |

It doesn't help that my house and my job are f***ing dead zones. It must be nice for the people that work at or near the Pokestops. |

My house is a dead zone too, which is weird because my bf and I can always catch a ton of Pokemon when we're just sitting in his house or in his neighborhood.

I still really don't get the obsession with it... Like this is more talked about on Facebook than the Kardashians were all last year, basically every post on my newsfeed is about it, there will be like 3 and then something non Pokémon related then more Pokémon. Skynet... To me it's just essentially Pokémon Lite or an upgrade to the PokéWalker thing, it basically is. Wondering what this means for Nintendo? This game will probably be more successful than the Wii-U, could they switch to a mostly mobile platform? The NX was already rumoured a lot to be and things like that come from somewhere. It'd be kinda sad if Nintendo just devolved in to mobile games. While it would be good business for them it just wouldn't be as satisfying as what they were dishing out 10-15 years ago. |

I just want all these "fans" to have picked up a Gameboy color once in their life. |

It's an opportunity for new fans to get into Pokemon, too. Don't be a hipster. |

What about the 'fans' who weren't born in the Gameboy Colour era? Or were too young to own one/play with one? Or, you know, maybe just welcome new fans? |

Not even I have really played Pokemon on the Gameboy Color. My first Pokemon game was Ruby on the GBA, and after that I went back and bought Crystal. I've never played the original Red, Blue, or Yellow (although I've seen them played) because I don't think they've aged well. If I want to play first gen, I just play Leaf Green or Fire Red. |

it's easy to get into it from what ive seen it's on a device most people have and know how to use already and almost always carry around with them, so it's easily accessible nostalgia for many seems like a fun pastime with friends. some of my friends who dont even give a s*** about pokemon have been playing it bc it's just something to do that gets them off their a*** when theyre not at work. and honestly it seems cool to be able to meet strangers who are also doing the same thing. and i dont just mean to become friends with them and all that s***, but just meet one person once and say "hey yo we both like pokemon!!!" and then never see each other ever again so yeah i dont really understand how people dont see why there's currently a big obsession over it. |

I don't see why this is better than a normal one it's just got elements from a full Pokémon game. It's like one of those unofficial Pokémon MMO's, they're hardly the real experience. |

It focuses on catching all 150 Pokemon while simultaneously making the task a heck of a lot harder. It also focuses on teamwork and (in the future) trading and building teams with friends. So if you enjoyed those aspects of the games a lot, you're going to enjoy this game more; however, if you enjoyed the single battle aspect the most, you're going to want to stick to the original games because in the initial release, battles aren't very fun. |
