The majority of the episode was devoted to Mai and Trunks as the title would imply.

Terrible episode. -Poorly drawn as usual. lol: Spoiler: click to toggle -They are pushing Trunks x Mai way too hard. It was always a terrible pairing, but Future Trunks is looking like a pedophile now. -The flashback of Future Trunks and Mai fighting Goku Black was completely unnecessary. We already saw them fight Black before. We already saw a flashback of Future Trunks' first encounter with Black. This is just pointless filler. -Pretty much nothing happened besides explaining how Bulma had Cell's time machine. Terrible pacing. I want to be excited to see Gohan and Future Trunks meet again in the next episode, but it's most likely gonna be garbage. And they're retconning Future Trunks to have had blue hair all this time? I liked that they did flashbacks of Future Trunks's timeline.

Interesting to be able to have a look into how Trunks' mind operates. He never truly succeeded Gohan's will in his own mind; he never became the 'hope' that he saw Gohan as. Speaking of Future Gohan, I really hope we get a bit of new material regarding him in the next episode.

Learned more about black's motives and some of the scenes looked sooo cool I like how they're starting to reanimate old scenes too. It's gonna be interesting seeing gohan and trunks meet again

Fire fox Favourite Manga Gantz	Where did you get that Gohan quote? Or did you just make that up? This felt like a filler episode to me. The plot really didn't move forward much. I'm not sure of the significance of the whole Trunks/Mai thing but things make more since when you know the big picture (which I do not).

He says that "humanity is the Gods' only failure" - what is it exactly that humans have done? They don't have any presence around the universe, the aren't like the saiyans were or Frieza so why does Black hate them? Why hasn't he just destroyed the planet if he hates Earthlings that much?

If Black came from U10, then it implies that there are 'humans' that wronged him there. In which case, just U6 and U7 being parallel worlds goes completely out of the window. Zamasu looks like the Kaioshin from U6 anyway, so it's possible that they've just retconned the Universal Tournament stuff.

Shows how far vegeta has come, that the death of future bulma impacts him. the trunks and mai stuff is pretty useless, hope they drop it soon. Also hate how piccolo is constantly becoming a bigger joke by the episode, from farming to fixing bulmas garden.. i thought the great warrior may have made a slow return after the u6/7 tournament but seems i was sadly mistaken..

I liked the part where Goku Black copied Goku's fighting style in such a short amount of time. He'll be extremely challenging to say the least. Trunks and Mai are an odd couple for sure, but whatevs. Bulma approves of it, so...lol
	Gender Neutral, meaning I don't want to be specified to either gender. If you keep calling me by gender terms, I'm just going to call you an "it". That's all.
