Did Babidi use Cell's crater to hide his ship?

We all recall the moment where Cell blew up the Cell Games ring and left a huge hole, right?

Could it be possible that at some point in Babidi's arrival he used this hole to hide his humongous spaceship? I'm probably missing the bit of dialogue where Babidi says he arrived on Earth a long time ago, before the Cell games, but it doesn't seem like that.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the war room!"

I don't think so.

The Cell Games ring and Bobbidi's ship weren't in the same location that I know of.

Would be a nice nod of continuity though.

Interesting thought, but that is unlikely coming from Akira though, he doesn't think about minor stuff like that.

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

I don't think Toriyama would put that much attention to detail. Plus, didn't Dabra check up on the Earthlings to gauge their power every few hundred years? Bobbidi's ship had been in place there for many centuries, IIRC. Plus, even if it was where the Cell Games coincidentally took place, Boo would have awoken. A weird twist, but, that seems to be what would happen. Bobbidi and Kaio-shin repeatedly say that they do not want to destroy the ship or disrupt Boo in any way before he reaches full power, otherwise he will awaken at only partial strength. I think the large crater Cell made, the turning SSj2, the gigantic Kamehameha struggle between Super Perfect Cell and SSj2 Chibi Gohan would probably be considered "disturbing" Boo. Thus, awakening him. The Cell game would have been over for everyone then.

The question is... If Babidi's ship is where the Cell Games were, wouldn't the power exerted there be enough to free Boo? Babidi didn't choose the location at random, the Boo ball was already there.

Was Buu's revival kinda tethered to Babidi and his ship? Didn't Babidi have spells or whathaveyou in place to channel battle damage directly to the Buu ball? Who's to say that without Babidi there Buu could even be revived. IIRC Goku and Vegeta wasnt that close by when they were fighting and thus channeling battle damage to the Buu ball. So was awakening Buu possible through Babidi's methods or could he be released by anyone with enough power?

Well, if Buu were to awaken during the Cell games at only partial power, he might be beatable, albeit barely.
I'm getting very angry with you, and for me that is a very bad thing, so watch yourself.
