Posts: 3,709 Group: Member Member #11,519 Joined: July 15, 2014	The two base theory seems awfully complex and convoluted for a simple anime and hasn't been explicitly stated at any point, even if I would prefer that to be the case. We don't know at what point Trunks fought Dabura, perhaps Trunks has powered up to God levels simply from fighting and surviving against Black for one year. Vegeta reached God levels training with Whis for 6 months. Although, this means Black is pretty rubbish at killing Trunks.

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Dragon Ball / One Piece / Berserk	From what we've seen so far we know SS Trunks is strong enough to beat Dabura, but SS2 Trunks is weak enough to get his sh1t kicked-in by Goku if he uses any effort. I'm thinkin' he's probably around same tier as Boo Arc Goku and Vegeta, maybe a tiny bit higher at best. EDIT: I forgot Trunks actually got a complement out of Beerus, with that in mind, he can possibly be top level Boo Arc tier or stronger. Edited by Omega Z, Jun 27 2016, 06:14 PM.

Maybe Trunks kept getting zenkais?

GT at least gave us the Rild comment with Goku to help give us a good clue where everyone is up until that point. Super? Everyone's just "really really weaker than Beerus and Whis" and how strong they are from episode to episode, let alone in comparison to previous arcs makes the anime impossible to make sense of without the two base theory.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Dragonball Z	I have no problems for future Trunks beeing above all the Buu arc characters. He was the only saiyan always keeping up with Goku and Vegeta. Besides he is a halfbreed saiyan, which can acces a lot of power. And he is the type of saiyan that always trains, unlike Gohan. For me it is not strange if he surpassed everybody from the Buu arc.
