Fair enough, I concede on Vegetto's ability to retain his power while he's a candy is something that's unique to him. However, the entry is clearly referring to that one instance.

If characters are capable of forming attacks that can wipe out Galaxies, AoE shouldn't be a problem. There's no indixation that being tiny made Goku's ki any weaker or less potent, so all he'd have to do is make a bigger attack than the one he would've made normally.
Read the post above yours.
I did, but can you help me with one thing?

If tiny Goku didn't keep his full power, how was he able to conpete with Fake Gohan, who was stated to be as powerful as the normal one?
I would guess their power is relative to their size. And didn't Goku comment that while their power was the same, their fighting ability wasn't?

Kai doesn't have this scene at all, and still comes to the same conclusion FYI.
Really? Goku knows how strong the real, full-size Ultimate Gohan was and doesn't suggest that he's scaled down alongside himself.

I'm pretty sure he mentions power.

You're using Kai now?
I always have.

But again, their power is relative to their size (obviously) and Goku states they are as powerful as the original. Ok.

I believe (and I could be wrong) that he states that while he's strong (copy Gohan) he isn't as skilled.

I'm just not seeing a big issue here.

Okay, so he's strong (without Goku saying "huh, he's weaker than normal). Either Goku's calculated exactly power he lost, sensed the fake Gohan's power, calculated how much he lost and found out they were the same, or he's as strong as the full-size Gohan. Don't see what skill has to do with anything.

I'm just wondering how Goku can be weaker than Bootenks while being stronger than Gohan when he was tiny and much weaker than normal.

How much power do ya think Goku lost? He was still willing to fight and kill Evil Boo according to you, right? Why would Boo, who has complete control of his body, make a tiny version of himself that's much weaker than normal?

You're all over the place with your post, I don't know if I follow.

Relative to their size, Gohan and Goku are as strong. End. Meaning that if Goku is a 50 and Gohan is a 40, and they both srunk down - Gohan is a 4 and Goku is a 5.

Beyond that I'm sure Goku commented that while Gohan's clone was as strong, he didn't fight like Gohan (IE, dumb)

Finally, Goku in the show is weaker than Buu - Gotenks absorbed and stronger than Gohan. We actually watch Goku fight Buu and prove he does a better job - there is no contridiction there.

FYI, Goku states he will beat Evil Buu and find a way out, implying that he knew Buu couldn't be beaten from the inside/at that size. This scenario is present in both media.

If Goku and Vegeta actually lost power, wouldn't that be something quickly brought up by both Saiyans? Losing power would be something to keep a good eye out on and both Goku and Vegea would notice it pretty fast. Goku doesn't even realize his own predicament that he's not normal sized. He seems unaware until he tries blasting Boo that he's the size of a flea and its only when Boo tells him.

Goku was ready to grab everyone and break out of Boo, with no question to something like size or power. But of course Goku still expects fusion to be necessary in the anime once they escape from Boo.

Super Boo does imply that Goku got weaker when he was tiny. When Goku tries to blast a hole in him, Boo points out the reason he can't is because he's smaller than a flea. This works for the manga obviously, but in the anime it creates this plothole with fake Gohan.

I believe this is a rather obvious point. It isn't like Goku has lost ki or has gotten weaker, its just that the huge size difference greatly negates the effectiveness of Goku's power. Attacks have the same potency but lack the same level of scope that they would normally achieve.

And it still doesn't help that Goku was willing to fight Kid Boo and continue fighting him when he was stated to be on a whole other level from Gohan boo and with admittance that if Goku could reach his full power he'd be able to win, but Goku did almost everything he could to avoid a direct fight with Boohan and was willing to fuse with Mr. Satan out of desperation to defeat him.

Apparently Goku knew well enough that as small as they were, they wouldn't be able to beat Buu. They reference it many times that they never actually planned on beating Buu from inside his body, combined with the fact that they couldn't just leave and fight him "like this" - Goku (and then Buu) remind the reader that their size is an issue.

Already addressed this, Goku and Vegeta were not aware they would turn back to normal.

So we all agree here.

Goku was willing to fight Evil Buu as well, the issue arose when he had to fight Evil Buu while 1 inside of his body, and 2 while small. They literally point this out.

Beyond that, what does Evil Buu - Gohan/Gotenks absorbed have to do with this conversation? Goku already states IN THE ANIME that Pure Buu isn't as strong as the absorbed Buus and NO ONE in this thread is arguing that is the case. You're clearly constructing a strawman to make your postion seem more reasonable when you already know it's flat out incorrect.

Did he actually make an outright statement, or is that merely an assumption on your part?

Episode: 278
Context: After Son Goku and Vegeta refuse the Potara earrings
Kibitoshin: “C-Can you beat Boo like that? He has gone back to the original, most difficult, powerful Majin Boo!”
Son Goku: “It’s okay. We’ll manage something! I’m sure of it!”

Episode: 279
Context: After Boo’s huge blast morphs the landscape of the Kaioshin planet
Son Goku: “Majin Boo, you are one dense guy, but your power, speed, and powers of recovery are all incredible! You’re on a whole different level from all the Boos up to now! You’re ridiculously strong!”

Episode: 285
Context: Narrator describing the events of Episode 284
Narrator: “This is the purely evil, absolutely most powerful, ultimate Majin Boo! And this is the only thing left that can lay him to rest…”
Note: The narrator is referring to the Genki-Dama in that second sentence.

Don't know what's stated in Kai, but this is what's stated in the original anime, and it clearly infers Pure Boo > all other forms of Boo, including absorptions.

It only makes sense that the anime wants to end it with the most powerful villain, even if it contradicts stuff said earlier in the series.

Absorbtions aren't forms. Except for the Kaioshin's.

For the sake of drama, it certainly does but they could've thrown in some comment about the fusion giving Vegeta & Goku a big boost to balance things out. As it stands, we've got a Goku & Vegeta who're meant to be on par with the manga counterparts IE inferior to Gotenks & Gohan not instantly dying against the most powerful Boo of all time.

Goku specifically stated that Pure Boo is stronger than all the Boos up to now. He doesn't mention "forms" or anything - just all Boos, which logically includes every shape or form he's been.

Which essentially puts him on par with Vegetto. If that's not contradicting, I don't know what is.

Anyway, doesn't really matter in the end anyway, as I see DB/Z more as entertainment value than something that should make sense.

Even if "all" doesn't refer to absorptions, Goku then says he's the ultimate Boo, which logically would include absorptions because how can he be the ultimate one if he's still weaker than composite Evil Boo?

Wait, what about Tank Boo? What's his status?
