Pre-Goku vs Beerus: Goku - 100 million (Base Form) - 5 billion (Super Saiyan) - 10 billion (Super Saiyan 2) - 40 billion (Super Saiyan 3) Every version of the arc has Beerus say Base Goku can't beat Freeza, except this one. In fact, Beerus only comments on Goku being able to defeat Freeza when he launches a barrage at him as a Super Saiyan 2! However, given how well Piccolo fares against Frost, an opponent against Vegeta required Super Saiyan in order to defeat, I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that Base Saiyan's aren't stronger than him still. Vegeta - 95 million (Base Form) - 4.75 billion (Super Saiyan) - 9.5 billion (Super Saiyan 2) - 19 billion (Rageta!) Unlike the film where Vegeta's touted as superior to Goku or the TV show where he's strong enough to make Beerus use 10%, the only comment about Vegeta's power is Krillin saying "When did Vegeta get this strong?! You may choose to interpret this as him being better than Gotenks and Gohan who get their asses kicked but I choose to think this is Krillin merely commenting on how strong Vegeta's gotten in comparison to his usual power. Why an x2 boost? I see his mutated SSJ2 as him somewhat forcing himself into SS3 but due to him not being dead or a hybrid, he can't properly get there. Gohan - 650 billion (Ultimate), Irrelevant (real power) Gotenks - 400 billion (Super Saiyan 3) Piccolo - 2.5 billion (or roughly on par with Cell Games Goku) Everyone else (except Satan) - honestly, who gives a flying f***? Goku vs Beerus: Super Saiyan God Goku - 10 trillion (or a 1 on the God scale, stronger than Super Saiyan 2 Vegetto, but inferior to his Super Saiyan 3. God is a x100 000 Base increase) - 100 million (Base Form) Beerus - 15 trillion (or a 1.5 on the God scale) - 100 trillion (maximum power) Whis - 150 trillion Why put Goku so low? Well, Toyotaro is clearly playing up Goku and Vegeta as still having a ways to go with the God power given how Blue functions later on in the tournament arc. Goku himself says he's merely scratching the surface so making him a 1 to Beerus' 10 feels like a good way to showcase this. Why not put Goku's base form as stronger now? Well, as I said earlier, Piccolo isn't shown to train or have any big increase in strength yet nearly defeats Frost, an opponent Goku and Vegeta needed Super Saiyan to defeat. This can only make sense if Goku and Vegeta don't really have a vast increase in their base forms. Further, in what little we know of Toyotaro's version of the F arc, the narrator mentions that Goku and Vegeta absolutely needed to work together to beat Golden Freeza, signaling that Toyotaro is clearly making manga Goku & Vegeta much weaker than their animated counterparts. I mean, Beerus could clearly tell that Vegeta had gotten stronger, and his blows weren't really phasing Vegeta, so I'd argue Vegeta has to be stronger than everyone else on that ship. |

A possibility I entertained but I'd chalk up Vegeta tanking Beerus' hits as his anger/adrenaline letting him ignore the pain rather than any testament to his power being greater than everyone else'. Although, that could just be my disdain for Rageta keeping him down on this list :P |

Would adrenalin really allow him to tank such powerful attacks? I mean, every other piece of material suggests Vegeta is above everyone else, or at the very least Super Saiyan 3 Goku. I don't see this wouldn't be the case in Toyotaro's manga. |

I don't think Beerus is exerting much of his power TBH on anyone there. If he wanted Vegeta dead, he'd just power up to any relevant amount of power and kill him rage boost or not, same thing with Boo, Gohan, Gotenks,... My guess is he's using just enough power to hurt Vegeta without outright killing him, but Vegeta's angry enough to take them while he's mad. Unlike the movie or the TV show, Toyotaro doesn't play up Vegeta's feat as anything but impressive in-comparison to Vegeta's usual power. The manga doesn't say anything about him being on par with Goku or being worth 10% of Beerus' strength. Beerus doesn't even complement him as being more entertaining than Goku was and sighs during Vegeta's attack on him, looking thoroughly bored and/or disappointed. You could even make an argument Beerus is intentionally letting Vegeta hit him to see just to see if there's a chance he'll get even stronger. There's also the fact the various different versions of Super directly contradict one another so I don't really feel its right for any consistency purposes to use say the TV Super to discuss manga Super. The same way I don't think its good to use anime Z to discuss manga Zs powers. Edited by ekrolo2, Jun 24 2016, 02:38 PM.

I like to keep the powers as low as possible and Rageta's power does throw that scale somewhat. I like to assume that it's him tapping into the ssjg power as it's the first time he's been fully enraged as a 'good' saiyan. |

I can understand that reason but it gets a wrench thrown into it when you remember we've had good Saiyan's get mad before and it never let them get that strong. My go-to explanation is that Rageta is just him trying to force himself into SS3 and not being able to properly do it. Toyotaro even draws their powers up very similarly with their auras exploding into big pillars of energy. |

where did you bring the numbers from ? i thought PL are out of dragon ball universe since the android saga. EDIT: SSJ2 vegeta is equal to SSJ2 goku. also i hate the "ultimate gohan" term. it confuses people. makes people think its some kind of a form. what we have now is out-of-shape gohan, but he is still the same gohan post old kai ritual. only difference is that he, as i said, out of shape. From older PL lists I made before, almost all of these numbers with the exception of Goku's base form (kind of) are based on those lists. Its all pretty much guess work after Namek as you say. |
