I don't recall Super Saiyan being said to be stronger than Vegeta's Super Saiyan Blue. I'm pretty sure it was only Super Saiyan Red.

Super Saiyan Goku is keeping up with Hit, where Vegeta couldn't, and as Whis notes, Hit's Time Leap isn't all that effective against foes stronger than Hit himself. Beerus even says Super Saiyan Goku is stronger than Hit prior to powering up.

Goku was predicting whereas vegeta was obviously not. Where are you getting this from?

That tidbit is irrelevant tho. Whis said Hit's Time Leap isn't very effective against foes stronger than himself.

Like Xenoverse said Goku was predicting while Vegeta wasn't. It was the same kind of thing that happened in the anime basically. That doesn't really say that Vegeta at Blue less than 10% is weaker than Super Saiyan Goku.

Edit: I suppose it could work then. Goku did tell Vegeta that he could probably have won in his Super Saiyan form. Ig Vegeta was just being stupid.

No, the "irrelevant tidbit" is the small a*** clipped scene of whis saying it doesn't work on stronger opponents. The relevant one is where they use a whole episode to capitalize on the predicting of Hit's movements. You also forget that hit was holding back a lot with ssj goku. His time skip probably doesn't work on people that are stronger than him at full power (ssbkkx10) but his full power was relatively equal to ssb. He didn't need this full power on vegeta because vegeta hadn't figured out his move.

Predicting is absolutely useless if your opponent is decently stronger than you. If Hit had, say, a 10/20% lead, it would mean that Goku would have to both predict the move and react to it coming from somebody with that lead on him. Do you think he's capable of efficiently reacting to someone who's a good amount stronger than him and hold an advantage?

I didn't forget anything. Hit is presumably using the same amount of power he's using against Goku. No, Goku as a Super Saiyan God could be stopped by Hit at full power, when he previously couldn't catch him, so that's definitely not how that works. I'll concede that it is possible that Vegeta could be stronger than Super Saiyan Goku at 10% if Goku's lead on Hit as a Super Saiyan God is greater than the gap between Vegeta and Hit, but I'm not sure that's what is going on.
