It's been ages since I watched that special about future trunks, but if I remember correctly SSJ Gohan was getting the upper hand against 17 untill 18 intervened, which leads me to believe that Gohan is at the very least around 17's power, maybe even slighty stronger. So a SSJ2 is more than enuogh to beat the androids

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Hokuto no Ken, Berserk, Dragon Ball, Rurouni Kenshin, Attack on Titan, Kuroshitsuji	In terms of manga portrayal - Future #17 clarified that he had substantially limited his own power to less than half when he last fought Gohan. The confidence Gohan harboured must have had some basis to it, though. He might have been able to contend with Future #17 at half power. A hypothetical SSJ2 would make them rivals at full strength. So this fight essentially pans out in a similar fashion to Piccolo vs #17 in the main timeline. Future Gohan's only hope for winning involves using a high powered Kamehameha or Masenko; otherwise he's going to get worn down and lose. If he's fighting both cyborgs at once then Gohan will eventually be overpowered. He'll be having his hands full just with handling #17, much less him and his sister together.

Android 18: 260 Android 17: 300 Super Saiyan Gohan: 250 Super Saiyan 2 Gohan: 500 Super Saiyan 2 should give him the edge he needs to win.

I've only ever seen the dub of it but generally, from sources I trust, Future Gohan does in-fact do a fairly good job of taking them on before they gang up on him.

Vegeta was jumped without Gohan and Gohan was jumped without Trunks.

Later on, however, both of them state they're done with the games and they're going at him with full power, implying they hadn't beforehand and Gohan was never really capable of vanquishing them. It could be explained that they were indeed toying with him earlier, and #17 was simply messing about too much, but then it's weird that he wouldn't just up his game and KO Gohan instantly.

The only subs I have say this after Gohan makes his big entrance; Sorry Pyrus, totally skipped over part of your post. He still does well against them when they're at full power. When they team up and really work together going at him, they do end up having a big advantage, but honestly I'd chalk that more up to him only having one arm than anything else. Sorry again about glancing over your earlier post, missed your comment about having the same line. This is really weird. He does well against them when they're at full power, but he goes into it assuming that he's going to die. Well, at the very least, he considers it a very real possibility, given the fact that he's entrusting Trunks with his mission.
