Man, that's disappointing. Would've thought they'd gone into more detail with the whole 'stat up' thing with his son when he was teaching him archery. Ah well.
Well the creators said Kratos will be teaching his son how to be a god, while his son will teach him how to be human.

You'd think Kratos would be smart enough to not have kids after what happened to his previous family in the "Greek world". Can you imagine if Odin or Týr (two Gods of War in norse mythology) tricked Kratos into doing what Ares did with him to his wife and children? Man, wouldn't that be hilarious.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

That works in reverse as well. After what happened to the Greek Pantheon, it would be wise not to piss Kratos off.

Odin and his gang aren't little b***s like the greek gods were.

They'll learn all the same from the ghost of sparta.

It's funny. Kratos basically said the same thing to Poseidon before giving him an eye exam.
