 Seems to me Toyotaro gave Blue a similar condition to what the anime did with Blue being combo'd with KK.

In the anime, while Goku has Blue up, KK still taxes him but it isn't really until he fully powers down that the real setbacks start to arise. Personally, I'll take Blue as this massively powering up but taxing transformation over the animes retconning of Super Saiyan basically never being mastered to Blue can look better by comparison.

Now, if Blue WAS still Super Saiyan just melded with God Ki I wouldn't mind this at all but.... its not. Its a completely separate thing from regular SSJ.

Also, I should probably clarify a few things from a Kanzenshuu translator:

No, Vegeta isn't weaker than Super Saiyan God Goku, the fatigued Vegeta is but in standard conditions he's merely a step behind Goku.

Super Saiyan also doesn't have stamina issues the same way SSJ3 does. Goku just stops using it because SSJ can't cut it against Hit and he'll be wasting energy on an ineffective form. The same way how he gets tired fighting Cell in-spite of mastering SSJ.
