What are your thoughts on bisexuality existing? Many people claim that bisexuality is just a "phase" or an in-between stage of sexual development. It's common among the lesbian community to turn down dates with bisexual girls because of the stigma against bisexuality or for fear of a woman "faking" being bisexual. If you believe that it exists, do you think it's silly that people refuse to accept it? Why do you think that there's such a stigma against it? I can say with absolute certainty that it does exist, and it's a very valid sexual orientation. It does not, however, always mean that the person is equally interested in both genders. It's a spectrum, much like anything else. |

I think it does exist, yeah. It's as you said; it isn't a 'sexuality', per se, but just a term used to describe the vast spectrum of sexuality between heterosexuality and homosexuality. As for people not accepting it, I think that's ridiculous. The idea that we have to be one of two sexualities is just reflecting that it only used to be acceptable to be completely on one end of the spectrum. |

The hypocrisy of a lesbian or gay being judgemental with a bisexual is palpable. Anyway, yes, it's legit |

What will you do when you get old?

I don't care for it either way. It's more of an idea or concept rather than a tangible thing and in that form it does exist. |

I'd say it exists, I feel like I'm on that general spectrum for one, having an attraction to both genders to an extent.

Hello But yeah, I am pretty much the same way. I'm attracted to both genders, but I have not been infatuated with a man yet. Not sure if this will ever happen, but I do find some men attractive. |

Is it really a sexuality or is it just not having a sexuality though? As in do you just like both or do you just not like one in particular so are happy with either, similar to being asexual but you do feel sexual attraction. I'm not sure how to phrase exactly what I mean... Of course there are preferences within sexuality itself but those could be attributed to experiences. Like maybe a bisexual woman had a lot of painful sex with a man or men when they became sexually active so they generally prefer women due to those negative experiences. I'd say being gay or straight is definitely something you're more likely to start as and being bisexual is something you can open your mind to whereas it's not likely that a guy could be completely straight for years and then suddenly only like dick, as in definite straights who love having sex with women not someone who's just repressed their sexuality. |

I think sexuality is pretty fluid among everyone, so yeah, in my opinion bisexuality just exist. When you think about it the concept is extremely simple, just that alot of people tend to over complicate it. |

Hetero, Gay and Bi are positions on the spectrum. What you said is like saying that there is no such thing as left-wing or right-wing because political views are on a spectrum. Edited by Ginyu, Jun 19 2016, 08:16 PM.

Yeah, I'm with Ginyu on this one. There are specific spots on the spectrum people exist on. Then there is refusing the spectrum altogether by being asexual. |

You told me you was gay as well. Damn even the side chicks gets lied to these days. Bisexual exist. I don't really think it's complex. You like what you like. If it happens to be bother genders then do you. I know many bisexual people who switches base on the person. I think my mom is bisexual but she's been more woman preferred (so I say lesbian) for awhile. If you like one overall you're either hetro or homo. Don't really think it's a hard concept. Sure some people (mostly female) experiment but I think in the long run it isn't hard. |
