Why is blood and gore and violence so common in entertainment in the u.s but nudity is so terrible? It doesn't make sense that we let our kids see all this crazy s*** but nudity is such a problem

To me that's how things seem to be but correct me if I'm wrong

I have noticed that too and it's the same here as well. Sexual scenes will always be more criticised than violent ones for some reason.

Because apparently we want kids knowing how to kill before they know what a boob besides their Mom's look like.

Nudity and death/violence are very common things in human history and in any man or woman's life. I don't get why they'd censor either of those things. Is teaching kids how carnivores eat the flesh out of the herbivores considered offensive too in the USA or what?

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

I never thought about this before. I would much rather have a kid who is sexually curious rather than a kid who wants to kill somebody because it looked cool in a movie. There is nothing wrong with the human body, but when it comes to exploding vehicles, people getting shot and stabbed, I would say that is worse than a sex scene. Either way though, I don't think any kid that is under the age of 12 should be exposed to any of that.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I guess it's because violence in media is usually obviously fake and it's not likely to make anyone act on what they see?

If there was any real relation to seeing violence on TV and becoming violent the world would be absolutely full of serial killers.

Whereas sex and nudity is real and is in line with urges most people will have at some point. Seeing tits and sex is going to make teenage boys get a boner and then they're going to question that boner. Same with lady boners.

As well as that it's almost prostitution on the part of the actor/actress so it's something viewed as more immoral, whereas violence is never actually inflicted upon anyone in movies, these days at least.

But yeah I still don't get why it's so horribly wrong compared to some things depicted on TV.
Then again if sex was in every other TV show watching anything with family would be damn awkward so maybe it is a blessing after all.

It's also strange that we always see females naked but never really males.

Well dicks and vagina's aren't really all that appealing to look at generally, there's usually plenty of bare chests around.

Not sure why people would want flaccid penises flapping around on telly more often :p

Personally, I'd rather watch someone get torn to shreds than some sexual intercourse. The latter always seems to stop a movie's pace in its tracks.

There are plenty of movies that show a guy bare chested.

I'm not really referring to chests. The ratio of male to female butts is quite different.

Well a mans wardrobe doesn't usually consist of thongs, skirts, panty's and booty shorts.
