Theory for the first SSJG

Shenron said that the first SSJG was created to defeat the evil saiyans. Yet in the end, the saiyan couldnt hold the SSJG form any longer and in the end he lost.

Most of you were likely curious how this happened. Because we saw Goku still did absorb a portion of the SSJG power and thus was able to hold his own against (surpressed) Beerus.
And the evil saiyans shoudnt have been that powerful.

Me theory is this; unlike Goku, the first SSJG saiyan was NOT able to absorb some powers from the SSJG power when he lost the God form, and that was his death. He had exactly the same powers as he had as before the god ritual when he lost that form.
He was not like Goku. Goku somehow absorbed some powers from the SSJG form, and the other saiyan was not able to do the same so he failed.

It is one of the logical theory's in my opinion, because the evil saiyans shouldnt have been that powerful. At best he was fighting a Oozaru army, so even using a portion of SSJG should have been enough to ellimeninate them.

Do you guys agree with this?
If not, what is your theory?

Wasn't Goku's absorption of ssjg's power outright stated to be rather special? If that's the case then the real crazy theory would be the first one somehow keeping his power. But yes, it's very likely the original ssjg lost his power when the form ran out. I'd also say it's a multiplier rather a "skip to power level X" kind of thing, explains why all the evil saiyans weren't immediately wiped out at least.

...Actually wait a minute was the first ssjg mentioned at all in DBS? I think that's a movie only thing, and if that's the case, then the first ssjg isn't canon at all and it's just as likely that Goku is the first. What DBS gave us (iirc) was just a mention of the Namekian Book of Legends explaining the process, rather than the legend of the first super saiyan god itself.

My theory was that he was far weaker than Goku to begin with, he was a good saiyan amongst savage, battle crazy saiyans. I imagine him and his friends were weaker than the average saiyan but were able to create the ssjg. Even if h did retain some of the power, he wouldn't be able to defeat an army of oozaru. Also, the royal saiyans are descended from the original ssjg, that's why in BOG he looks like Vegeta and that's why they're more powerful and also why Vegeta didn't need to go through the ritual to get ssjb.
