Trunks coming from the future, future villains with white hair, an Evil Saiyan who looks like Goku. It has to be from Trunks' timeline too, otherwise there was an individual potentially stronger than SSB Goku on Universe 6's Earth before it got 'destroyed by war'.

The earrings might be a part of this maybe. That said I don't see how this is gonna create tension if the gods (especially Whis) are brought in at any point.

Posts: 3,709 Group: Member Member #11,519 Joined: July 15, 2014	I'm not bothered that he's wearing darker clothes, I mean I can't really see an evil guy puting on a bright orange jump suit every morning. The Mai thing is weird but they aren't necessarily a couple, just happen to have met and are teaming up to fight Black Goku. I mean if he drops his guard then the shotgun could take his head off. The issue I have is that I don't want to see some mind controlled Goku, or a Goku clone, or a different version of Goku with a different life because that wouldn't be Goku, it'd just be a guy who looks like him with a different personality and motivation. I want to see the Goku we all know go through some character shifting experience which changed him but I struggle to think what that coud be. I can't think of anything that could possibly happen to Goku which would be traumatic enough to cause such a change but if it isn't the Goku we know turned evil, then there won't be as much drama.

I see now, it looks like this is not the same Future Trunks present in the Cell Saga. This is the Future Trunks from post Cell Arc but it's probably in a timeline in which Goku didn't die in the battle with Cell. Anyways, it's looks like those fusion looking earring type has got something to do with Black Goku. I like the Black Goku's clothing design. It gives him a Mercenary look and personality. It also looks like we will be seeing Gok-, I am sorry, Kakarotto's original personality. That is, will be seeing him as a Full Blooded Saiyan for the first time. And if Black Goku will remain as the main Villain then I am pretty sure it's gonna be Vegeta who will defeat Black Goku [Oops Spoiler Alert].

Maybe this Goku was resurrected to fight Majin Boo. When Boo was threatening the universe, Yemma sent for the strongest dead warrior to be sent to fight him. Which was Vegeta at the time. Maybe this Goku had been training in Otherworld for many years and was brought back to help Trunks fight Boo. Still have no idea how he would have turned evil though. Whoa Whoa! I was just speculating. It's true that there is a good chance that this is the same Future Trunks present in Cell/Android Arc. I was just speculating the remaining chances left out. Since, the Future Trunks portrayed here looks very different physically and appearance wise. Also, there is the fact that Mai is also present here. @...as with 'Evil Goku'; he looks like Goku, but he isn't Goku. That's a big assumption. I mean we haven't even been Introduced to Black Goku. I think it's safe for me to assume that you meant "might not" instead of "isn't" right?. @Toriyama said that Trunks would be reappearing again, right? What's the point in saying that if it's a different Trunks? That is somewhat correct if you look at in one way. But, I am pretty sure it could also mean that as long as this 'new' Trunks is from a bleak Future and as long as he has the 'original' Future Trunks-esque and personality then the fans could be satisfied, right? Anyways, to each his own.

Chrome Favourite Manga Dragon Ball/Attack on Titan	I'm hoping the earrings mean that it's Goku either fused with someone that somehow didn't alter his appearance, or that he's looking to fuse with someone, like Main Goku or Vegeta. It'd be cool to have Vegito as a villain. I'm also hoping Trunks' hair gets fixed. Blue is just wrong for him. It's fine on Bulma, but it seriously looks silly on him. Also, maybe this is wishful thinking, but could it possibly be that the "Mai" isn't? There's really no reason to bring her into it, I'd sooner accept she's an adult Pan or even a daughter that timeline's/universe's/whatever's Goku. It could be she uses the shotgun in much the same way Trunks uses his sword, rather than it being the only way she can fight. Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Hellsing, Elfen Lied, Trigun Maximum	It's kind of amazing now. Out of the supposed 72 episodes Super is going to have, the first 30 are complete rehashes of of movies we've seen...and they are terrible rehashes. It wasn't until the Universe 6 Arc and the Revenge of Tullece Arc that anything remotely original...or not absolutely rehashed was done. Compared that to GT which in 64 episodes, still managed to tell more originality than Super. Even when it gets very close to being a rip off of some things, like Super 17 is the most uninspired thing ever and is a blatant Movie 12 ripoff with hell opening up and villains escaping. In this case its very short, only 7 episodes long I believe. Or in the case of the Baby Saga, which is heavily based upon Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans, it's done far better and allow for more growth than what the 45 minute or so OAV could've done. At this point, Super may have more episodes than GT, but GT has more originality to it. I guess that's just the old saying. Sometimes less is more.
