If you had to have a roommate for a place you live in, would you want your roommate to be someone you already know or would you prefer someone you've never met before? Discuss. |

Someone I've never met before. Strangers are typically more polite and respective regarding your privacy and property, too. Friends will take advantage of you, take you for granted. |

I think that rooming with a friend is more comfortable than rooming with a stranger, but can easily damage the bond between you and that friend because it will get annoying putting up with each other every day. |

Well, yes. They also think just because they're your friend, they can ruin your things and eat your food and it's all cool. It's not. |

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

Some friends are like that, some aren't. The friend I lived with wasn't like that at all, and neither was I to him. We clicked pretty well. I wouldn't like to live with a stranger at all. That's one of the main reasons why I still live at home. Living with friends can work if you click, however there is some truth to what Pyrus said in that being friends doesn't necessarily mean you'll get along living together. The friend I mentioned above is the only one I'd be ok living with; the other two I consider just as close, but I know for a fact that I wouldn't enjoy living with them. |

"Then you've got the chance to do better next time." "Next time?" "Course. Doing better next time. That's what life is." | |

All the people Ive lived with not including my family were strangers and some eventually became friends. I don't think it matters too much bc the one thing I've realised is that being good housemates doesn't mean you have to be friends; likewise, being friends doesn't mean someone will be a good housemate. |

I somewhat agree with Pyrus and Buu. Would I do it? No, more than likely not. |

What will you do when you get old?

So long as they don't drink my milk and don't piss all over the toilet seat I don't really care. They could be friend or stranger. Fortunately I don't need to room with anyone right now. |

i think only some of my friends would be ok to live with, so if i could pick one of them then yeah lets do it but if i had to pick one of the s***ty living friends then id rather get a stranger and hope for the best |
