What a f*-awful episode. Gotenks diffuses in less than 5 minutes, so hooray, more Gotenks related nonsense. Yeah, he was Super Saiyan 3, but that lasted quite a while against Boo, and Gotenks didn't diffuse immediately afterward. Add to that the piss-poor animation, everyone talking up a god damn storm when Vegeta is about to disappear, and Goku not transforming and ending this fight, and this episode was plain not enjoyable. It was aggravating even. Also, Vegeta is stronger than Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks, but I'm sure noone is surprised by this. EDIT: Missed the NEP when it aired, and I saw it just now. Holy s, Goku, use Super Saiyan for Christ's sake! Vegeta's life is on the line ya god damn idiot. Edited by ThePrinceOfSaiyans*, May 29 2016, 01:05 AM.

On second thought I'm beginning to think you're right, maybe Gotenks does have a shorter time limit, but it wasn't a mistake in the dance it's a retcon, or maybe you could make a spiel about age making it shorter?

It makes sense. SSj3 makes a fusion end early because of the intense energy drain. Being beaten heavily also drains energy, so... Edited by Clearin, May 29 2016, 01:15 AM.

Trunks is on the other side of the next episode. And they don't look like they're about to end this fight within the next episode. Sorely disappointed not only at how predictable this is turning out to be but also the sheer laziness in this new "villain." I'd love to be wrong and be jumping the gun. I really would. At the very least can I hope for a good twist or something? C'mon man

After abysmal showings in BOG and ROF, finally Gotenks whips out Super Saiyan 3 and...gets stomped anyway. Thanks, Obama.

I mean, it seemed like they were genuinely trying to build hype for Gotenks, yet he gets wrecked. It's like Toei thinks that merely showing us Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks is enough to satisfy Gotenks fans, which is of course, absurd.

I am actually hoping for some BS to happen so the fight ends without Goku winning and Vegeta staying alive.

Yeah this 3-5 minutes thing is kinda funny. Gotenks probably diffused because he got hit so hard but now goku has 3 minutes to fight vegeta and he's not transforming? Come on man. The same as what happened to him at movie 13. Diffused because he did get hit so hard. How strong can you place base Vegeta after seeing this fight?
