Rexy is the OG Tyrannosaurus rex from Jurassic Park and Jurassic World, and is a member of the species on the nameplate of the franchise. She first appeared after the power shut down at Jurassic Park, eating a goat and escaping her paddock in one of the most iconic scenes to date. She was the only known tyrannosaur on Isla Nublar in the movie, although there was a smaller juvenile rex with her in the book. After escaping her paddock, she reappeared shortly after to chase Muldoon, Ellie, and Malcolm in their Jeep before cancelling her quest and retiring to the jungle again. Her roars can be heard throughout the movie until she makes her triumphant return in the climax, saving the surviving humans by killing the Velociraptors.

20 years later, she made a brief appearance in the beginning of Jurassic World where she engulfed another goat. Again during the climax, she made her presence known by taking on the seemingly unstoppable Indominus rex. Despite a near fatality at one point, she—with the help of Blue and the Mosasaur—was able to topple the Indominus rex. Her last appearance was atop the helipad, where she gave her iconic roar to symbolize that she was once more the queen of the island.

SIZE

Rexy boasts an impressive size, second only to the Mosasaurus and a fully grown Indominus rex on the carnivore side, and is the largest tyrannosaur we've seen thus far. It can vary slightly depending on which source you use, though generally she's always at least 40' long. The most recent source (that being the Jurassic World size chart) lists her at 44' long and 16'10" tall, weighing in at a hefty 12,000 pounds. In comparison to the other T.rexes from the franchise: the Buck from The Lost World: Jurassic Park is listed at 40' long, 16' tall, with the female being slightly longer at 42', and the sub-adult male from JP3 is listed at 37' long and 14.5' tall. For a real life comparison, the largest complete T.rex specimen on record is 40' long, 13' tall, and weighed up to 10.5 tons.

SPEED

- Hammond stated at the beginning of JP that they had clocked her going 32 miles per hour, and she certainly showed this speed whilst keeping up with Muldoon in the Jeep before she called it quits.

POWER

- Able to break through a fallen tree with complete ease, not even stopping to acknowledge the event.

- In Jurassic Park: The Game, she fought Lady Margaret (the alpha Triceratops), who was said to be as big as an African elephant. Rexy survived the fight with no noteworthy wounds, while the Trike at least lost one of its horns.

- Instantly killed The Big One with one clamp of her jaws. (Excuse the tiny gif.)

- Shoved the Indominus rex through multiple buildings on Main Street as well as displayed enough jaw and neck strength to pull the I.rex off the ground by its head and toss it away.

DURABILITY

- Took assaults from two raptors, including The Big One, and came away with only scars.
- Survived a brutal battle with the Indominus rex, receiving numerous gashes and very nearly being killed at one point.

- Despite having thunderous footsteps and being massive, nobody realized she was at the Visitor Center until she chomped down on an unsuspecting Velociraptor.

---------------

Rexy is undoubtedly the queen and flagship of the franchise! I'll be adding the other tyrannosaurs soon, so stay tuned.

Cool.

Though why are both size charts the same? I feel like you messed up there. :p

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

The T.rex Family is the family of three Tyrannosaurus rexes from The Lost World: Jurassic Park, comprised of the Buck, the Doe, and the Baby. They were the most showcased animals in the movie, and made several appearances throughout. The Baby really had no feats and did nothing noteworthy in the movie, so he won't be mentioned all that much here.

SIZE

The Buck is 40' long and 16' tall, with the Doe being slightly longer at 42'. Being only one week old, the Baby is a fair 9.5' long and 4' tall. The parents are smaller than Rexy by a couple feet, but both still massive beasts.

The sub-adult male from Jurassic Park /// is quite often the least appreciated of the tyrannosaurs to appear in the series, most likely because it only showed up for one sequence and was killed off.

SIZE

Because of its age, this male is only 37' long and 14.5' tall (strangely measured from the head rather than the hip), which is noticeably smaller than the other tyrannosaurs that came before it.

Maybe if he'd had more than 3 minutes of screen time, there'd be more feats to use. As it is, he's the least impressive T.rex thus far.

Yo Pyrus, will you add stuff from the JP comics or can I add it myself? :)

You can do that. You're much more versed in the comic world than I.

I figure I should add some of the video game feats as well, at least from JP: The Game.

Nevermind, the comics don't feature any T.Rex'es as the main villains, we only get to see two of them, the first one being the one that attacked San Francisco (tossing a car in the air with its jaws) in a single panel, and the other is some kind of ancient and old Rex that is thought to be a godlike figure that judges the worthy and unworthy humans that come to the island and are presented to him/her.

Not much besides the car thing.

I added Rexy's best game feat and put a majority of the images in spoilers. I think that's about it as far as the rexes are concerned. Now onto the next!
