As far as I'm concerned the LSsj form is beneath Ssj2 and there's not much Broly has going for him. Gohan is implied to have highest potential & M10 hinted that he kept his training Inspite of all that, got ROFL Stomped by M10 Broly with minimal effort. Less than 5 strikes to be frank. A single hit, grapples & SSJ2 Gohan was helpless as Broly held in "lock position" SSJ2 Goku (with his superior skills as Instant Transmission, Solar Flare, etc) would fare marginally better than his son But end result would be Broly ROFL Stompin Goku @Darker Is one word post...i mean I'm not regular member. It's also implied Gohan wasn't giving it his all either in the beam struggle (similar to Cell). Time: 46:42 Context: After Goku joins the beam-struggle. Goku: Gohan, you ain't giving enough power! Goku will definitely fight with all his strength to eliminate him as a threat. And if he had that much trouble in the beam struggle, then facing Goku is gonna prove even more difficult. I definitely think it was a big Zenkai but not enough to bring him to Goku's level. I'd say Goku wins.

Yeah, Broly definitely has a moderate level of power on Goku as a Super Saiyan 2, but I think Goku's skill will edge it out more so. In M8, Goku eased under a punch he did and gutted him. Could be because he was superior at the time but Broly hardly evades attacks which can be vital given Goku can use Instant Transmission with the Kamehameha Wave by this point in the series.
