Anime typically closely follow the manga source material, the MCU is an amalgamation of many different comic book stories that generally goes in it's own directions. Also I forget since I've been avoiding as much info about this movie as possible but I heard Shocker is to be in it...? Please God tell me there's not another villain as well, why do they always have to f* Spider-Man up with having too many villains at once... I don't get it, of course he has an amazing selection of villains but introducing them all at once is fing silly and that's...well it should* be obvious.

He just Spidey with tech. Iron Spider suit means he's Spidey + Luke Cage = Pretty much unstoppable wut. What are you talking about with "Spidey + Luke Cage"? That did not make any sense to me. Well, I was using to in a roundabout fashion to indicate high, bulletproof durability. The Iron Spider armor allowed him to go fisticuffs with Titanium Man, no-sell minigun rounds,fly for sometime and the extra arms could cut into that kind of armors. A good film Now this film looks like haphazardly cooked dish just to shove it along Avengers troope. It it click, cool. We make MOAR Spidey filmz. If it bombs, no prob. We got Infinity War coming lol Same prob as TASM. I noticed it immediately yet certain section glorified the film making rubbish comparison to Raimi's version. Which resulted to tbe disastrous sequels & very same audience that glorified it puked at the sequels Spidey films can have multiple baddies as long as its well-written interconnected to the main plot. Look at SP3. It had like Green Goblin, Sandman, Venom & yet the core values which makes Raimi's trilogies as classics: heart-warming Peter Parker-Aunt May sequences, hard-hitting lines about love, friendship, betrayal & instantly likable characters populated all over the film all remain intact Which I dont see in any of TASM films nor this one

And sorry, your other comparisons - c'mon man-.... - this is me when I saw them So you are saying even Iron Man, Thor, Ant Man, Doctor Strange are of the same quality of BVS and the new Mummy? Clearly it doesn't since comic fans complain about it all the time... I do wonder how this movie is going to go since it's skipping a lot about Peter. Of course we all know the origin of his character but it's going to lose so much emotional weight if it doesn't show any Uncle Ben stuff or just generally make Peter a character. I feel like it might just be an MCU movie, rather than a Spider-Man movie. It's probably there to continue moving the verse forward rather than just be a good movie.

The ultimate universe is not as well known or nearly as well liked as the 616 universe. Please do your research before you say "clearly". Back when Iron Man first started the MCU it was stated it'll follow the ultimate universe. Then EVEN TODAY the guy who plays Spiderman say it's based on the ultimate universe. So a comic geek like myself can see clear ultimate universe plots, origins, costumes (Thor without his ~~sexy~~ helmet), and personality(everyone being too goofy) The original intentions back in 2008 stated by the writers The actor for spiderman saying it. What more do you need for evidence this is clearly following the ultimate universe...
