Comic Book fans make no damn sense.

They complain that they gave Miles sidekick to Peter for this movie(which they in fact did). But ain't a damn soul except for Darker complained that Iron Man stole Ultron from Ant Man(Hank).

Uh, there were a good amount of people who complained about Tony being the one to create ultron.

It was just excused for
A) story reasons
B) ant man wasn't introduced yet (mainly because of Edgar Wright)

These movies still won't be perfect, some fans will still prefer the older movies after this is released, and we'll see another Spider-Man trilogy 6 years from now. Guaranteed.

That's why I no longer follow superhero films religiously.

And you're right, there was no point in posting this here. I just felt compelled to do it anyway.

You used to follow superhero films religiously? When?

Just curious.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

From the early 2000's up until around 2009 or '10. When Marvel started pumping out movies like popcorn, that's about when I stopped being interested.

You mean when there were so many terrible Marvel movies and when the MCU started? lol

When Avengers 1 came out, that was basically when I gave up completely. Both Marvel and DC went off the rails for very different reasons. Before that, Marvel movies sucked, but at least they didn't suck in that annoying, overrated way. At least they could still be enjoyed for what they were. :p

I've never been a Marvel fan to begin with. Guardians of the Galaxy was good tho.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Eh I doubt Spider-Man is going to fail this time, they have production quality and a lot of bad history to review.

We'll probably get nothing more than romcom romance stuff not hours of flat, bitterly dull romance with MJ...God that was terrible.

We haven't really had it focus on Peter growing up so much yet just him being a loser in the Maguire trilogy. Plenty interesting stuff to go through.

To be fair Spider-Man's always been kind of a loser. He's always getting the short end of the stick, and at the same time he always has the best luck, which is pretty much Maguire's Spidey summed up.

Was I the only person who didn't really mind the romance in TAS movies? It was a little over-the-top at times, especially after her death, but I thought the chemistry between the actors was good at least.

I thought they were bland and boring, not to mention their relationship was quite silly at times.

I dunno if it was Mark Webb trying to modernize (is that a word?) their relationship, but it was just off, as is the rest of his Spider-Man movies.

I thought the romance in TAS was great, they seemed like a real young and awkward couple, stuttering and stuff.

Peter and MJ didn't even seem like they liked each other half the time, MJ especially just always seemed annoyed at something, no chemistry there at all.
At least no two way chemistry, there were a few moments from Peters side.

Yeah but he's a loser in that bad stuff happens to him a lot not that he's total dorky outcast that nobody likes. He's a not-so average guy down on his luck that's what makes him relatable.

My Dear Melancholy,

Well...TASM actors chemistry was obvious as the actors dated in real life.

Actually yeah, that's exactly what he used to be. He was nothing but an outcast and he remained this way for many years.

I mean, anyone would know this if they bothered to read at least the first issue of Amazing Spider-Man.

Sam Raimi did, in fact he had been a Spider-Man fan all his life. The reasons why so many elements didn't work on the first Spider-Man movie can be blamed on the writers and producers, who chose to go against most ideas Raimi suggested, such as Green Goblin's original design, cause it was too scary for kids, and they didn't want to make it too mature, while Raimi did.
