Super Saiyan among Super Saiyans Posts: 3,294 Group: Member Member #7,044 Joined: December 7, 2011 Gender Male Country United States Favourite Anime Dragonball Z, Avatar	Does anyone know when Season 2 will be released? I heard it was postponed (again) until 2017. This anime is brilliant! It is one of the best shows I have ever seen. It has everything one could ask for: brilliant characters, an epic plot, a dramatic soundtrack, and spectacular action. Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and Captain Levi are my favorite characters. I really want to see what happens with the Armored and Colossal Titans. What do you guys think about the show?

The Lord of the Dark Posts: 15,356 Group: Member Member #11,968 Joined: January 7, 2015 Gender Male Country Spain	It's pretty good. I love how grim and dark it is. Kinda disappointing how there's barely any fighting scenes with the Titans or Eren.

Virtually every episode advances the plot or builds characterization, and that's something I appreciate.

The Eren Titan transformation is still my favourite scene just because it kicked so much a***. Literally.

Nothin Favourite Manga Nothin	Carnage is AoT's only strong point & it has no instantly likable leads (Eren is an obnoxious SOB), funny/lighter moments to even its dark/carnage scenes & overplays the dramatic moments to be on par with DN, FMAB etc Fights are fluid thx to BONES. The wannabe epic moments accompanied by cool soundtrack masks all these flaws. But hey, its not as if I care Just my 2 cents

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	I disliked the ending to the anime but overall it's solid. Season 2 should be...interesting. Honestly, a lot of it is kinda boring in the manga. I hope they do add some filler in to it just to liven it up. There are a lot more characters and world building things to come. Fights of course. Delaying it makes sense, some hella good s*** is going down in the manga now they'll want to wait until this is done before doing anime. There's not really an "ending" they could have for the season yet. Plus other good anime like Nanatsu no Taizai and apparently One Punch Man are getting new seasons late this year.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Oh yeah there's a similar anime out recently that's kinda decent so far, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. It is pretty much the same as AoT, even animated by the same team. Post apocalyptic, humans survive in fortress things, zombie-like creatures want to eat them. Good guys gain powers of the zombie-like creatures in order to fight them. Beyond that it's not identical or anything, the main guy is pretty cool he's not a numbskull like Eren he's actually really smart and of course being a shounen MC strong willed. It's also set in a different kind of era to AoT, they have steam trains and steam powered guns. Humanity survives in fortresses and they use trains to go between them. The Kabane(zombie things) aren't quite as unsettling as Titan's but they're like the inected in 28 Days Later in that they run and the infection spreads fast. Seems like it could potentially be a bit darker than AoT but not as gory yet.
