So my glucose level(blood sugar level) was pretty low in the last blood test I got. Weird thing is that I wasn't fasting. Doc said not to worry if you feel fine and I feel fine I wasn't shakey or having any other hypoglycemia symptoms. I ate lunch before I got the test. Has anyone else heard of this? I couldn't find anything about it online. And here's another weird part: high blood sugar runs in my family. And it's not like I don't get sugar in. I eat fruits and other good sugars and occasionally I'll have either a little soda or ice cream Maybe the lab made a mistake? |

It's possible that you have a high insulin count. Insulin absorbs glucose allowing your body to use the sugars you in take. If you taken in too little sugar or have too much insulin compared to your average consumption of sugar, then you will have a low blood sugar count. This website will provide you with examples of symptoms and treatments (not cures): Link |

Guess you restrict ur carb intake so much it results in low blood sugar level Dont worry. It happens. Just have occasional treats like ice cream or cake once in a while. But since u said high sugar level runs in ur family, its better to be cautious Symptoms of hypoglycemia may not have been evident, but it might have indicated its early indication with test result. If too low, you may faint, KO As I said, take some form of "healthy" carbs. |

I restricted carbs for weeks, like outright not eating any carbs, and my blood sugar didn't go that low when I checked it while fasting. It was around 60 to 70. I was also eating way too low calories (200-300) a day. |
