Assuming that Gogeta would recieve a boost similar to pot-ROASTED Gotenks' boost, then he'd lose to SS Gotenks (post).

Who either is or isn't stronger than Kid Boo, depending on people's personal numbers. Fat Boo was stronger before his split from Grey Boo, so it needs to be specified which one. I think an accurate gauge would be Base Gogeta (Cell Games) is more or less be even with initial appearance Gotenks, who couldn't even beat original Fat Boo. I think Trunks and Goten at that point were more or less even with Goku and Vegeta during the Cell Games, Goten perhaps having the edge on Vegeta, and Goku having the edge on Trunks. I don't think they got stronger than Cell Games Goku until their Rosat training. Our gauge can be Gohan, who was stated to be weaker than his Cell Games self. I personally don't believe in Rival boost. Imo, Rivalry simply makes the fusion more aggressive and their techniques more versatile, not necessarily physically stronger. Oh, I see now. I had forgotten this was a gauntlet and just assumed it was another "who is the strongest person X could beat thread"... Well, Goku flat-out stated that Gotenks would be stronger than himself, so I don't see why with additional training in the ROST he wouldn't be stronger. |

Are you joking now?  This is Cell-Games. This is Gogeta. This is normal him. How can he be higher than SSj Gotenks (post-RoSaT), unless you think Goten and Trunks are way below Goku from the Cell-Games? And I know you don't go by lowering his power-level to Vegeta's makes the fusion weaker, so that I know (which I also agree with). So what? EDIT: mis-interpreted your post as Gogeta being higher than SSj Gotenks, but still even Normal Gotenks. Now I look like an idiot. Edited by StrawHatCrew, May 7 2016, 12:34 AM.

Goku has to lower his power down to Vegeta's level in order for this to work. It's essentially two Cell Jr tier characters merged and being pitted against top of the line SSJ2 characters as a minimum. Goten and Trunks were stronger than the Cell Jrs, close to Gohan's early Buu arc level, in fact. Both of whom I personally believe are somewhere above Majin Vegeta when merged as Base Gotenks (pre-RoSaT). Gogeta in the first scenario is unfortunately not going to suffice in making it past the first round. The second one I'm still confident they couldn't make any significant progress. What slim bit of doubt I have lies in the rival boost possibly granting them a bigger boost than the one for Gotenks since Goku and Vegeta's relationship with each other borders on self-obsessed struggle and enmity. Assuming that's enough to bridge the gap between them and Gotenks, they might be able to take on Grey Buu. If somehow they win that then Fat Buu easily kills them.

This Gogeta is about on par with pre-ROAST Gotenks for me, so he'd lose to everyone on the list. |
