Posts: 1,024 Group: Member Member #10,761 Joined: January 23, 2014	I just recently came back to playing yugioh cards after a long time hiatus. It seems like cards have evolved and gotten more powerful since the original yugioh and yugioh GX ended. However, even though new cards are better than the old cards, they're not as symbolic and fun because they're all about power now. At least with the older cards, they have more meaning and using dueling strategies back then didn't seem that complicated. Do you guys think it would be great if people can just host yugioh tournaments or events that prevent cards that come after GX being playable? I think it would be a lot of fun for the old and new players.

Posts: 39,342 Group: Legend Member #5,088 Joined: August 1, 2010 Gender Not Specified Country Chile	That would be an amazing idea, but Konami and the like would never do it because they only care about money and they can't make money if they don't promote their new cards (like prizes for winning), and they can't do that if they don't allow them in the important events. I'd love a tourney with just original and GX cards. That would be awesome. Unfortunately, until the series ends completely and Konami stops producing new cards, that has approximately a 0% chance of happening.
