Witch or Vampire

 SAW THIS on a wrestlingforum and thought why not post it here eh.

If you had the choice of becoming either a witch or a vampire, which would you choose?

Before you choose, there are rules and guidelines for each entity.


Vampire

The Pros:
1.Super speed
2.Super strength
3.Excellent combat skills and good at close range combat.
4.Night vision.
5.Have the power to smell blood within a 2 mile radius.

The Cons:
1.You can't go out during the day, only at night.
2.You will have to leave home and abandon your family and friends in order to protect them from you.
3.You must feed on a human once every night in order to stay healthy while having to avoid being targeted by vampire slayers and religious crusaders.
4.You can't eat food anymore, only drink blood.
5.You suck at long range combat.
6.You're weak against anything Holy.
7.You must protect your turf from rival vampires.



Witches

The Pros:
1.You can use magic.
2.You're excellent at long range combat.
3.You can blend in with society and attempt to live a normal life.


The Cons:
1.You are monitored by the powers that be/the Source at all times and they can strip you of your powers at any time for whatever reason they see fit.
2. Your powers are ranked, which means you can only use the powers that are within or below your ranking.
3.You can't use your powers for personal gain, which means no love spells on yourself, wealth spells, beauty,or immortality.
4.You can't tell no one of your powers except if you want to form a coven with other witches, then its allowed.
5.Demons and warlocks and sometimes other witches will be after you constantly trying to kill you for your powers and prophecy stuff.
6.Due to your extensive studying of the craft, your combat skills aren't really that great when it comes to close combat fighting. But it can be fixable.
7.Illness can affect your craft in negative ways depending on the severity of the illness.



I would chose vampires. I like a good ol turf war and running and hunting humans. Would be a fun lifestyle.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

 Probably vampire, being a witch sounds kinda pointless with all those restrictions like no personal gain.


As a vampire it'd be easy to form some kind of cult that worships you. Wear a leather suit or something to avoid the sun also.
You might look like an idiot but who cares, you're a vampire just kill suckas.

Assuming you're still immortal like almost every imagining of vampires imagine all the stuff you could learn over time? Start with a cult, make a huge organization and have a silly amount of knowledge at your disposal because you simply have the time.


I barely go out in the day anyway so that'd suit me just fine, plus there are multiple places where it will be night for over a month living there would be just the thing.

 Witch easily, leaving my family and hunting perils isn't something I want. The witch is also mostly come but there I might become a super hero or something. Go buffy the vampire slayer on foolish warlocks.

I'd go for vampires though, much more interesting. I'd try to create a daylight ring too. And also, can steal blood bags from hospitals 😎

 Being someone who's worked 3rd shift, I'm very apprehensive about having to stay up all night and sleep during the day. It just doesn't agree with me. However, given the context of receiving super powers, I could perhaps make an exception. There are ways to circumvent some of the restrictions here as well, at least in my mind.

I assume this doesn't mean there's an invisible force physically keeping me from venturing into the daylight, just that it would obviously kill me. Thus, I'd do like Angel and use the sewer system, or wear some form of protective gear/covering if I had to travel somewhere. Hell, I could still ride my motorcycle around during the day with a tinted helmet, gloves, jacket, and a baclava to cover my neck.

Protect them from me eating them? Or from the people that would presumably come after me for what I am? Either way, I could do this apart from leaving my woman. I'd have to at least remain close enough to protect her should she need it.

Channeling Spike here, I'd say bring on the slayers. I might as well have some exhilarating fun while I'm at it. I have a long list of enemies, too, so finding prey would not be an issue.

Similar to #1, I physically can't eat food or it just doesn't nourish me anymore? I assume it's the latter, in which case that's fine. I'll miss red meat and buffalo wings, though.

I'd bend the rules and cast a spell on some personal trainers/martial arts trainers to get me up to speed. I mean, it's not really personal gain if I'm doing it to better protect humanity, right?

I don't get sick as it is so I'm good.

Overall, I don't see many incentives to go with the witch aside from daytime activities.
