Summary: Coming Soon! That was an episode. Goku jumps out of the ring, giving Hitt the victory because Beerus won't lift the rules. Goku wants a real fight. Monaka jumps in the ring, punches Hitt, and Hitt pulls a No. 18 and goes flying, presumably out of respect for Universe 7. Champa threatens to kill his team mates, but then, the King of Everything shows up. The next episode preview also shows us the new Dragon, and he's big, gold, and generally looks hella cool.

That would be funny, and I'm still hoping that's what is happening and the giant one is just a fake out. Because otherwise well... DBS went with a boring route. If it's about the wishing power, then the Dragon's power is obviously far beyond the creator's power. Moori could never restore a planet, much less restore the lives of any number of people.

The final fight essentially lasted one episode, and while that episode was pretty good, it was so short compared to basically EVERY other final fight of any saga, and the ending was just...not there. All in all, another terrible saga. Part of me realises just why it was important for Toriyama to write every chapter on the seat of his pants each week. When he tries to make a much larger and more expansive story, he doesn't feel the need to ever really make anything big happen, because he knows there's still more. When he was writing the ends of the sagas in the manga, he wasn't thinking ahead, so when writing the defeats of Freeza, Cell and Boo they turned out huge because for Toriyama that was the absolute last thing he was thinking about at the time. He didn't know what came after it, so in his mind, the story he was telling had just come to an end. But with Super the story never seems to come to an end. Every saga just leads directly into another, so it just keeps dragging on. I still have hope that the ultimate climax will be big, but everything until then is done with the knowledge that it can't just be a big finish right now, because there's still more. So I feel like it's much less disappointing of an episode/saga if you don't look at it as a standalone thing, and look at Super as a whole as one big saga, I guess. Google Chrome Favourite Manga Dragon Ball	And yet, Toriyama knew he was going to continue after Piccolo's defeat after the 23rd Budokai, and even had ideas pertaining to Saiyan and Freeza arcs at that time as well. Toei's handling of Toriyama's ideas really isn't Toriyama's fault.
