I miss these.
Does anyone else here still own any VHS tapes? Do you still watch them?

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

I own a bunch, but I never watch them. I have no reason to. They're just something neat to look at and remember, for the most part.

I feel no sense of nostalgia for these. The quality looks and sounds like s***, they need to be rewound every time you want to watch them again, they're clunky and they don't hold much more than 3.5 hours of content.

You know how now you can fit an entire season of a show onto one disk, plus all the bonus content like cast interviews, audio commentary and making of footage? Yeah well all that stuff needed separate VHS' tapes. What's that, you want to watch an entire season of Captain Planet? Better buy each episode separately then.

There is a novelty about old analog electronics i like. i have a DBZ VHS and it has low sound, i can't remember if all VHS had low sound or not. it may have just been the tape or the player.

I just recently threw all mine away. I had them all with no way to play them for years, so they were just taking up space.

I currently don't have any VHS's but back at my home I think my parents still haven't thrown away all those old disney cartoon movies that they bought for me and my sister. You know like Lion king,Aladdin,Cinderalla, Beauty and the Beast,101 dalmations,Peter Pan and Mickey Mouse etc.

That's why I like them. They're so s***ty it's nostalgic. It's like the PS1, it had s***ty graphics, but I don't care, it makes me feel like a kid again. And that's a nice feeling. :)

Nope, i got my whole collection transferred to DVD long time ago. And i don't miss it, the quality looks awful and every time you finished watching the movie, you'll have to rewind.

Nah, it's been years and years since I last laid eyes upon a VHS tape. The last VHS tape that I've owned personally was my "Lion King" tape that I bought from Walmart as a kid back in mid-2004 but oh those were the days, eh? Simpler times before the age of information took over.

Honestly I don't anymore. Nowadays it is my DVD collection (and my CD collection) that is the nostalgia factor.
I got rid of the few VHS I had leftover years ago haha

Leve Feyenoord 1!

Don't really get the nostalgia for bad quality.
Sure I miss some old movies, but why the concept of VHS? Pretty glad we're past that.

Yeah 2000-2006 was a really good time. especially 2004. some of my best memories come from that time.

I don't think I'll ever get rid of my VHS tapes. I don't have a VCR but they hold a certain nostalgic and sentimental value to me.

DVDs, on the other hand...

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

I'm sure there are some in storage somewhere in the house, but no, I haven't watched any. I don't think there's even a VHS player in the house. The only thing I miss about VHS tapes is watching old home movies with the family. That was always a fun occasion. I guess we could get them transferred to DVD though.
