See this is the problem with the Kaioken. They're always talking about how much of a strain it is and you know what, sure that was true...

In the Saiyan Arc when Goku literally couldn't use more than say KK5 (at least that's what he implies he can use) without keeling over.

However by the time of the Freeza Arc, not only is goku using KK20 with a Kamehameha and not keeling over, he's using lower ones with the ease of a fart. Even if you don't take MSSJ into account, Super Saiyan was never treated in the series as being so straining that Goku couldn't use anything, especially not say a simple Kaioken itself. And once you've got MSSJ, the form that is meant to be balanced and take away that whole strain SSJ is supposed to have, this BS argument that Kaioken can't be used goes right out the window.

The writers, be it Toei or Toriyama don't seem to understand that Kaioken used to be extremely straining when he was first using it, but as he practiced and got stronger that strain became far less of an issue especially in regards to lower KK uses. But here, they make it sounds like even the lightest usage of Kaioken will potentially blow Goku's organs out of his butt or something.

That, combined with Goku not instantly one shotting Hit, makes one think Kaioken x10 is not in fact x10
It could be kaio-ken 10x and divide by Goku's effort.

The thing with Hitt is that he's stronger than he himself originally thought, and the way the subs read for me, it seemed like he was digging to find more power, not simply growing stronger as time passed. Because of this, it's entirely possible, he pushed himself to his limits when he was punched by Goku. That said, the writers probably just didn't care about the implications of that situation  .

I got the impression Hit was only improving his time stop, not his ki.

The subs I were viewing stated that Hitt was indeed stronger.
