Saiyan Of Legend

If you guys saw episode 39 of Dragon Ball Super, Goku incorporates his Kaioken technique with his Super Sayian blue form Multiplying all of the forms attributes (Speed and Power) 10x. Hit uses an improved version of his time leap (Which can now stop time for half a second) yet Goku was moving a abnormal speeds that he was still able to move even when Hit Stop time Meaning Goku Can move so fast that he can bypass the time barrier.

I'm scaling from Hit and how they could fight each other.
For the kaioken... Well I multiply it by 10. And I don't think Hit's soured Times ten can push him to light speed.

This episode seemed to be one of the better ones imo.
The fight really has an old DBZ feel.and glad Kaioken made it back, it's one of my favorite skills.

I'll admit, despite my objections as to how the form itself looks (it's better when Goku fights in it but the introduction is eye searing honestly), the return of Kaioken was really nice. And this is probably the best action episode yet from DBS.

Anyways, how big is the arena anyways? I have it at about five times a boxing ring or 38 meters (I think I'm being generous but it lies within the realm of possibility for me). I feel like getting the speed down is needed to do this.

Assumign the arena is 30 meters wide, I'm gonna estimate Hit's speed at about 380 meters a second, slightly overestimating since he didn't quite scale the whole arena, and the time leap stopped at which point he got punched in the gut, but let's go with that. 380 meters/s should let him cover around 38 in a tenth of a second. Does that sound right? Is my assumption on the arena size wrong or off to anyone?

At this point he's faster than time itself.

How do you quantify that?

I saw Goku having predicted what Hit was gonna do and planning his movements for it
right. That's exactly what he did but how does this say they aren't ftl? That's what I'm not seeing

If Goku was able to predict Hit's moves, it means that Hit wasn't able to get to Goku and pull off the move before the Time Leap stopped. Even if Goku knew exactly what Hit was going to do, he'd still get hit by the attack if Hit was able to deal it during the Time Leap, as Hit would just see Goku's defence/counter and just bypass it altogether.

How else do you explain moving in stopped time ?

I don't, it's complete nonsense even in and of itself; it's not consistent throughout the whole scene.

Exactly.

This scene made me realize that Goku became faster than time itself.

That doesn't make sense. If Goku became faster than time itself, why was he frozen at first?

Hit's time leap doesn't work against foes who are sufficiently powerful, much like how Nox "slows" and "stops" time. If you have enough ki, you can overcome his technique. It's not a true time stop like DIO's.

Was probably still slower than time or something, and then gradually became faster.

That explains it then.

Gradually became faster? He charged at Hit with Kaioken x 10. Why wouldn't he be using his full speed when flying at him?

If one were to exceed the speed of light, I imagine time wouldn't be an issue, taking the theory of relativity into account.

It's an idea, but then why would Goku be frozen at all in the first place? He should be either faster or not faster, not gaining speed while frozen in time.

I've seen some people over on the r/whowouldwin subreddit theorizing that Goku through sheer power was able to enter a sort of meta-time that Hit can enter with his ability. This... doesn't seem too bad of an explanation and completely rids of any sort of logical paradoxes that could come as a result of Goku moving faster than instant. Such as the inevitable why use IT when you can get somewhere faster by just using your raw speed.
