SD and Derek Dynamo go up against the toughest evil-doer they could find. And he's 200% American. Super Dinosaur Feats Senator Armstrong Feats ![]() Round 1: SD's wearing his Standard Armor and Derek is wearing his Wheels Armor Round 2: SD's wearing his Super Battle Armor and Derek is wearing his Bike Armor Round 3: SD and Derek are using their mechs |

We'll need to go up to mech level for Armstrong to start getting warmed up.![]() Even at that level, I'm not sure. How do their mechs deal with pillars of plasma energy? |

Well, they can withstand the attacks from a kaiju sized raptor that can cut through buildings. That's something, right? I mean, Armstrong toys around a lot, I'm sure they can pierce their armor through their plasma cannons or drain the energy of his nanomachines with their alien ooze. Once he's weakened, I don't see him standing too much of a chance, tbh. There's also the possibility of them ejecting their DynOre reserves and making them explode on Armstrong's face. I'm not sure he'll do well against an explosion that can blow up a city, especially if he's not expecting it. |

The cutting buildings thing is outdated in MGRR. The Metal Gear RAY has a blade that can do that, it doesn't help it very much against Raiden as you saw![]()
The guy summons plasma as one of his attacks, I don't think it would work ![]()
That could work, the problem is that he can do the same thing right back. I only didn't put it in the original fight analysis, because I'm not sure if he'd be smart enough to do that without necessity, but if he was running low on energy, I think he'd come up with it. Only reason he doesn't do that to the cyborgs is because they run on electrolytes. We know he can do this to other machinery besides Excelsus, he drains a few Hammerheads and APCs against Sam ![]()
Define blow up a city. Because Raiden in a super outdated body, while crippled and bleeding out, held back Outer Haven with one arm while the ship was going at ramming speed. This is what a ship the same size as Outer Haven did to Manhattan ![]() Armstrong is far stronger than Raiden even with Ripper mode and two upgrades later |

I'm gonna be honest I didn't get that impression from Armstrong that he was toying, note that gee spent the entire fight debating with Raiden as well in almost equal parts. When they decided to just fight it out without words or anything he didn't play around. |

Could Armstrong still be strong after getting drained from the ooze? I mean it drained SD's armor in seconds, and SD's armor is powered by a piece of DynOre which can also power up a whole city. Not sure if Armstrong's nanomachines would resist it before SD or the mechs try to cut through Armstrong. I can't be more precise on the blowing up city thing. They just stated it once at the very beginning of the series, and it only showed up once, and we didn't see much of what the explosion did. It killed most soldiers of an army which were duking it out on the Moon, and it was enough for them to stop the war, but can't say anything else. It's just a really strong explosion. |

Armstrong's nanomachines don't need to have energy to drain energy. In fact, that's how they activate, by draining the energy to begin with. |
