I absolutely hate it but I've been told my food is good and I get paid to do it, plus it's easy. Pay isn't that bad either. I've picked up a few interesting recipes. Right now I'm working at a place that serves various cultural dishes, but I primarily work on the Asian side on the wok cooking traditional Chinese, Thai, and Indian foods and depending on the season Korean food. I started out cooking American/European dishes, and sometimes I'll still be forced to do it depending on if my coworkers decide to show up to work or not, but I hate cooking those even more, it's too time consuming. We've also got a wide selection of sushi I have no interest in learning how to make. I don't cook at home. I usually just eat cereal, fruit, and PB&J at home because I hate cooking. |

Same thing happens with me. I consider myself an awful cook, yet some people tend to say my food's alright. |
Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?! Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power. | |

Same here. I haven't been cooking very long, but I'm getting the hang of it. I have a good start because I always watched my mother and roommate cook, as well as soaking in the tips they gave me. |

It's not that I consider myself a bad cook, it's that I hate cooking in general. Some dishes are fine if they're quick and easy to make but nobody ever orders those dishes. |

Cooking can be pretty rewarding though - especially if you get to eat it afterwards. I usually cook / bake with some podcast / youtube playing in the background so I have something to help get me through it. |

i f***in love cooking and it's probably my favorite hobby besides reading. actually last night i went to my friend's house and we made bangers and mash and pizza friends and family always say i'm good at it but idk. i would probably consider myself competent rather than good/bad since i know how to make a lot of things and use all kinds of different techniques but most of what i make i just make for myself and others end up liking it, but there's also a lot of stuff i make that they don't like (idk how much sense that makes) |

Can I just eat you? As for me, I find cooking to be simple enough—I've never messed anything up—but I've no interest in it. I'd much rather have a packet of crisps. |

I find that after a while it gets boring / expensive to eat like that ![]() Fast food / junk food etc. Sometimes you just want a nice simple pasta or something. |

I started to cook for my family when i was 9 so ive had a fair amount o practice. I prefer cooking for other ppl and seeing them have a foodgasm; I dont put in much effort if it's just for myself. I don't consider myself a great cook, but I can acknowledge I'm p decent. I was surprised by how a lot of ppl at university didn't even know how to boil eggs. I know very little cooking except superficial stuffs like frying chicken, eggs etc. But recently, I've been addicted to healthy eating. Extremely concerned of calories/sodium/sugar consumptions in daily diet. To say nothing of minimum intake of packaged/proccessed foods. As a result, I have newfound interest in cooking & eating healtiest food as possible. |
