Whole sentence is bogus tbh. Gohan was stated to have trained in GT PF, and while possessed, was batted by base Goku whilst he was in SSJ form. He was later seen fighting General Rildo fairly evenly suggesting he's stronger then Buuhan. Buuhan < Base Gohan ~< Rildo < SSJ Gohan < base Goku When Goku explains only he stood a chance against Golden Oozaru Baby, fusion between Goten and Trunks isn't enough even with SSJ3. Mind you this into the battle with Baby so he's likely at full power or at least was serious till that point. Buuhan < Base Gohan ~< Rildo < SSJ Gohan < base Goku <<< SSJ3 Gotenks (GT) <?< SSJ4 Goku ~< Golden Oozaru Baby In BoG arc, Goku trained so he's stronger then he once was in the Buu arc and going with the beginning training sequences he did, he feels he's strong enough to face Kid Buu in just Super Saiyan too ofc, he also imagine Frieza and Cell too. Kid Buu < SSJ Goku (Super manga) Beerus comes in a makes Goku amps up to SSJ3 and still best him with other ease. So much so that Goku felt fusing was likely not gonna work against Beerus that was extremely holding back. Kid Buu < SSJ Goku (Super manga) <<< SSJ3 Goku (Super) <<< union of Goku and Vegeta ~< Beerus (less then 10%) Any fusion of Goku and Vegeta is far superior to that of their sons. SSJ3 Gotenks < SSJ3 Gogeta < SSJ3 Trunkten < SSJ3 Vegito < Golden Oozaru Baby < Beerus Magetta went toe to toe against a Vegeta that's stronger then a SSJG Goku that made Beerus fight extremely hard and further proven after the climax of the fight. So their shouldn't be a roflstomps, more like a much closer match then what you think.

I really don't see how Nova could win this unless he really hurts Magetta's feelings and uses that weakness against him. Even still though, Nova has only fire attacks so that isn't going to do anything against Magetta.
