![]() Captain Kalus is the tribal dictator of an alien race known as Vandals. He and his people loot other worlds for their technology and then take the inhabitants as slaves. Kalus takes particular joy in the conquering of "sub-species" worlds. Despite his cruelty and warmongering, Kalus genuinely cares for his people's well-being and does have some sense of honor. Kalus was once upstaged by the treacherous ape, Grimian, for leader of the Vandals. This led to Kalus training hard and reworking the Fangore to defeat the ape and reassume leadership over his hordes. Kalus's only weakness is a fear of water and a tendency to monologue before finishing his prey. Strength, Skill, and Weaponry Picks up and throws a girder without strain Spoiler: click to toggle Handy with a bolas and capable of using it non-fatally if he pleases Spoiler: click to toggle He rips open a hole in an alien bunker Spoiler: click to toggle The rope of Kalus's bolas doesn't break despite having to hold up to the force of a vehicle being spun on it. The spear doesn't break either and also penetrates into the ice easily Spoiler: click to toggle A heroic Captain Kalus from another universe easily rips away a vehicle's cannons and then fires them. Considering that the alternate universe versions have the same power, this is usable Spoiler: click to toggle If Kalus is feeling murderous, his bolas have enough power to smash stone too Spoiler: click to toggle Kicks Krocomodo's a***(ending is cut off, but it's basically just Kalus roaring in victory). Krocomodo is a guy who can flip over cars with his bare hands and tank being flung into a wall like Kalus was(only slightly worse than him). Worth noting Kalus had just been flung into a wall before doing this(though so was Krocomodo) Spoiler: click to toggle Jams the gears and moving parts of a giant chainsaw and buzzsaw array with a spear. Spoiler: click to toggle Kalus's axes are sharp enough to break his durable spears. Spoiler: click to toggle Kicks with enough force to break stone Spoiler: click to toggle NOTE, EVERYTHING FROM HERE ON OUT REFERS TO KALUS POST-TRAINING IN THE JUNGLE Beats the crap out of an invisible Grimian, Grimian being capable of tossing around 10x2.5 logs, dodging spears point blank, and tanking attacks that destroy cars in one shot. The fact that Grimian was invisible and got off a few sucker punches only makes it more impressive that Kalus kicked his a*** Spoiler: click to toggle Easily kicks Grimian right into the path of another car Spoiler: click to toggle Rips through quite a few Zurk without getting scratched by any of them. Zurk are, for reference, killer robots. Spoiler: click to toggle Kalus fights evenly against Krytus, who we know is no joke at all. In fact, Kalus seems to hold the edge in their scuffle Spoiler: click to toggle Speed Reacts to a harpoon heading for his face and slaps it aside Spoiler: click to toggle Speed blitzes three peak humans(and a fourth human) along with dodging an attempted counterattack from one of said peak humans with ease Spoiler: click to toggle Dodges a cannon shot Spoiler: click to toggle NOTE, EVERYTHING FROM HERE ON OUT REFERS TO KALUS POST-TRAINING IN THE JUNGLE Slams Grimian in mid-air Spoiler: click to toggle Durability Is only briefly stunned by a blast capable of punching through ten feet of stone Spoiler: click to toggle Tanks being flung out of his vehicle hard enough to form sparks Spoiler: click to toggle NOTE, EVERYTHING FROM HERE ON OUT REFERS TO KALUS POST-TRAINING IN THE JUNGLE Being hit in the back by a car going at kamikaze speeds(that's how the Zurk fight) shakes up Kalus for a little bit, but he's getting back on his feet relatively quickly and does continue to fight. Spoiler: click to toggle Kalus tanks a few slashes from Krytus Spoiler: click to toggle Gatling Crossbow Can rapid fire Spoiler: click to toggle The bolts can impact with enough force to make a rather large vehicle quiver and shake Spoiler: click to toggle More than one arrow can be fired at a time with this weapon, and his aim is pretty good Spoiler: click to toggle One shots a Mecha Wasp with it, which is a wasp made of metal Spoiler: click to toggle Casually slays some more Mecha Wasps Spoiler: click to toggle Fangore The Fangore is Kalus's personal vehicle. It can be assumed to go at 100-120 mph as it keeps up with other vehicles in the show very well. It can shoot spears that penetrate metal Spoiler: click to toggle The spears pack a punch, severing a large ice formation like that Spoiler: click to toggle It can ram with enough force to flip a car several times as well as dodge several cannon shots Spoiler: click to toggle The Fangore's spears can hit with enough force to turn an APC sized vehicle on its side Spoiler: click to toggle A ram from the Fangore can send a vehicle into the air Spoiler: click to toggle NOTE, EVERYTHING FROM HERE ON OUT REFERS TO THE FANGORE AFTER BEING UPGRADED Fangore can now dodge lasers and jump about with the greatest of ease Spoiler: click to toggle The Fangore's tail is mobile, making it easy to replenish its ammo supply of rocks Spoiler: click to toggle The Fangore's tail is very strong with how easily it throws rocks Spoiler: click to toggle The Fangore can punch and block with its wheels. In this case rather impressive, since the other vehicle can fling cars Spoiler: click to toggle The Fangore's aim isn't awful Spoiler: click to toggle The Fangore isn't crippled by being struck by an enormous drill Spoiler: click to toggle The Fangore can explode lesser armored vehicles with a single hit from its catapult Spoiler: click to toggle
