Honestly, living your life in fear of cancer isn't really the best thing to do in my opinion. Sure, you can adjust your lifestyle to limit the chances of contracting (is that the right term?) certain cancers, but there are also some cancers like breast and testicular that aren't caused by external factors, to my knowledge. You'll either get it or you won't.

I think you 'contract' diseases that you might catch, but you 'develop' things like cancer, or diabetes. "Contracting cancer" doesn't seem right to my mind.

The article Pointer linked himself mentioned that breast cancer was one of those that were made more likely via poor food choices, and testicular cancer is increased by smoking. I agree that living your life in fear of cancer isn't wise, but it's not unwise to change your habits in the face of it.

So you are saying that its already precoded in the DNA so if someone will have any health issues or not?

s***tons of articles in the internet suggests otherwise.
No just that you either get it or you don't really there isn't a single way you can live your life that will make you never get it so there's no real point worrying.

There's an element of risk to probably absolutely everything in the world, having kids, eating food you've never tried before, talking to people you don't know.
Doesn't mean you should never do these things.

They're not certainties, but it's about minimising your chances - if it's something that concerns you.

That's basically it really if you really feel like you're at risk maybe you should re-consider your lifestyle.

Just take everything you read with a grain of salt really.

"1 IN 3 PEOPLE WILL GET CANCER YOU SHOULDN'T EAT THESE THINGS OR DO THESE THINGS OR YOU'LL PROBABLY GET CANCER"

If you think of all the people you know do a third of them have cancer?
Very doubtful. They probably have a variety of health problems that may kill them some day, sure. Most of them are probably older folk.

There's no need to fear your chances of cancer that much. It's not even the worst thing you could get really.

Basically Pointer said that the article about cancer says that everything he eats gives him cancer and everything it tells him to eat he doesn't like.

Edit: And in regards to everyone else, people told him that it doesn't mean eat nothing, and also debated about how much you should let a fear of cancer rule your lifestyle. The consensus was: to a certain extent do, but also don't.
