Has anybody ever played at least one of the Prototype games? I personally enjoyed the 2nd game (with James Heller) over the first. I just enjoyed its features as well as graphics a lot more.

I haven't played it, but I've seen some videos of it. It looks pretty cool.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

@Darker I definitely recommend that you check the series out. It's so fun to play... just picture the game as Spiderman on steroids but a more grotesque version.

My life wasn't even on its way to becoming completed before I played Prototype 2, now I'm on the fast track to completion.

I definitely enjoyed the second game more than the first... but that's not to say the first wasn't a good game. I think it might've been because the protagonist was always frustrated/angry >_>

I wished they'd made far more use of the whole... eating someone and impersonating them mechanic. Something more than the generic "you won't be recognized if you take the form of generic man #237".

I've seen my friend play through both of them. Also, I have the second one here although it's not mine.

It looks more like one of The Incredible Hulk games, with the way the main character jumps, climbs up walls and grabs and lifts things.
I might buy it, looks really fun.

iirc the Prototype games utilize the engine one of the Incredible Hulk's games used.

That explains it I guess. Looks a lot nicer though, I wish there were more Hulk games with Prototype 2's graphics.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I liked them I just thought they were poorly executed. They had cool ideas but the combat was either too easy or too annoying, as in enemies being one shot kill or being super spongey and taking forever to kill for no well explained reason.

They got a bit tedious for me and neither main character was all that interesting, especially Mercer.

Not that they were awful games or anything just I feel they definitely could have been better, mechanics needed fleshed out and the combat system wasn't spectacular.

Hopefully another game is made some day it was immense fun running about the rooftops, jumping off the tallest building and smashing tens of people at the bottom.
For a last gen game it was great in all aspects like that the effects were damn cool sometimes.

I dunno maybe my view is a bit biased the first game was easily my most anticipated game for PS3 and it was a bit of a let down.
