Criminally Underused Characters

I really don't like when a character with potential is underused and put along with losers, or put on the same level as other D-List characters with no value or personality. You know, like The Spot, a guy made out of portals who shoots portals and could become a dangerous foe if they ever wrote him right. I can't think of anyone else right, now, I just wanted to make this thread based upon the fact of how much I hate how badly The Spot is written. He's never HORRIBLY written, but he should become the main focus of attention, as he could be a very dangerous character, if it wasn't for some of Marvel's writers.

So, what other characters should be used or written better in the world of comics?

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

My Dear Melancholy,

You stole my answer. He honestly could easily been marvel next big villain if written correctly. Now I wish a video game would do him justice.

Since I'm a bat-girl...I'll say Tim Drake on the hero side but...I feel like Booster Gold should be given the spotlight

So apparently back in 2013, after Spot fought Daredevil, they replaced him with some guy called Coyote.
He doesn't seem too bad, but it's a shame that this is how they handle the end of a villain like Spot. They could've handled him better, not just replace him with a Yu-Gi-Oh monster reject.

Seriously, WTF.

I don't know if Vulture is criminally underused, but he should be taken more seriously. Up against guys in Daredevil's tier, he's portrayed in an awesome way where he is much stronger and faster than them. Metallo and Shocker also get the short end of the stick a lot more than they should.

And yes, the Spot could be amazing if written correctly

Spidey usually takes him seriously. Or at least he used to, I don't know how they're writing him nowadays. As long as he's not youth-sucking Vulture he's alright. I remember Vulture being a great villain from the start and all the way to the Roger Stern era. He never really got the best stories during the time Stern was around, but his return after getting beat up by Spidey was epic.

Roger actually called Vulture "the perfect villain for Spider-Man".
